- Hey! My name is Mariano, and this channel was created to share some poker sessions and travel.
In this episode, I visit Texas. This state is known for their BBQ, poker, and mediocre football teams. In this video, I jump into a deep stacked 2-5 game at TCH... wish me luck.
I hope you enjoy the content. Subscribe for more.

To them it's simply Hold 'em, since they are already in Texas. ☝️😀
True. I'm chinese so I just call chinese food, food
Im mexican. Same thing for my food.
Bruh
Stoners from Omaha call Pot Limit Omaha tables just Limit.....because they already have Pot on them and are already in Omaha.
@@ostreds limited to the amount of pot smoked. ☝️😀
As much as I love Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme vlogs, I love these just as much if not more man, so awesome to see one of your vlogs come out every time 🙏🏻 and I have to say, the quality of your content is second to none, I mean it’s just so satisfying and relaxing to watch, keep it up man 👍🏼🤌🏻
Agreed, his quality is incredible, especially for a guy who's in college too. Hope he keeps these coming
Fax!
agreed. its a pleasure to watch these videos for free
I get really sick of Owens always focusing on whether he is having a winning session or not, like such a noob, hasn’t realized it’s all one big long session, you want to win $ not sessions. He doesn’t get it and his vlog just reinforces his mind set leaks
@@officeofpeaceinformation5094 bruh, I’m pretty sure he’s very well aware of that 😓🤦🏻♂️ he’s the professional poker player not you right lol?
You really care about the cinematics of these vids and it shows. Good stuff
I’m not an expert, but I think that that when you have one board locked up and nothing on the other in a double board bomb pot, you should bet as much as you can (i.e. re-potting after the second caller on the flop). This would lower your chance of a chop by denying equity, while getting maximum value for the strong board, and would also be essentially insured against your locked up flop.
Also, thank you for your amazing films and breakdowns! I’ve been a fan for a long time and seeing a notification from you always brightens my day.
100% - gotta raise & pot that flop bet to push out any draws- would've locked up full pot.
Mariano is the man, boy I love this kid like a brother
Rockin intro. Great beats, as always.
Mariano - you got one of the best poker vlogs out there. Really good rhythm to each episode.
Great, as always!
Love how you share your thoughts on all the decisions.
was really looking forward to this vlog, kinda surprised how quickly it came out! The Broll footage is awesome
hey im also physically in the vlog, broncos country 😎
had a great time playing with you mariano (I was the guy with the skittles)
Love your vlogs man. My favorite poker action to watch! Keep up the grind!
What’s nice to see which nobody realizes is the fact we can play poker in a strip mall next to a Sherwin Williams paint store these days. Who would have thought that pre-2003. Thank you again Chris Moneymaker !! We’ve come a long way. Keep up the great content sir quality is awesome 👏
My fav poker vlog video outta all of em
Short film... 24 minutes, Love it!
Mariano is what RampagePoker would like to be
What a gay thing to say
I absolutely love these videos man. Cant wait to see you in Cleveland
You’re insane on that A8s, that’s such a slam dunk fold, I haven’t seen results yet but that’s pure spew. Even vs a hand like say J10h he has 59.5% equity to win the hand. You’re putting in piles of money getting a bad price where our best case scenario is getting it in with roughly 45% equity. This is assuming that the shover never has a set or Qx which he will have at some frequency even if it’s not incredibly high AND assuming that the other caller has no traps, which he will at some frequency, or just decides to hero off with AQ which which will happen at some frequency. You’re having to fade so many variables just to hope to get it in as a slight dog, there are wayyyy better spots then this, and you have way better hands to call off with, this is a clear cut slam dunk fold
Yeah it was a punt no big deal
Lol picks the ONE hand you don’t play well. Mariano is a great player and everyone makes mistakes. Like even the highest of stakes players make mistakes sometimes. Everyone punts guy.
That’s a crazy amount to put in the middle with 3 to a flush and middle pair lol…I’d only call something like that if it wasn’t much more for me to call. No way I’m sticking a significant chunk of my stack in there with somebody else left behind me to act
It was so much fun watching you on the live stream! Nice comeback.
Honestly, I’m just impressed on how you always remember the hands
Favorite line: I don’t think he’s gonna mind too much since he’s been kicking my ass all night lol 😂
I thought it was just their livestream that sucked but it's funny to see you pointed the lighting out as a problem there as well.
Just in case you need to reup on a couple gallons of pastel earth blue paint for the house Sherwin Williams right nxt door!
I love pastel!
@@MarianoPoker pastel gang has Mariano? Awesome!🥰
What an action video. No fold buttons in texas!. Great content, first time seeing double PLO bomb pots. Can't wait for your livestream.
This makes me miss Texas poker....and Austin. Such an amazing city. You should check out the DFW poker scene. This game you played in plays like a 5/10.
Love the vlog Mariano. The A8 of spades call and the K2 bluff at the end showed that you have some poker balls. Thumbs-up. 👊🏿 From Netherlands
I'm probably just an idiot but thanks man!
what did you think of Austin? thought the shot of the jenga building was as if to say, "cute little town has a couple high rises"
I really liked Austin
Not a “cute little town with a few high rises” it’s a huge city with multiple high rises 🤣
Cute “little” town is the 11th largest city in the country... lol
when you called with the 6 in your hand i said "this kid's got some stones!" call of the night imo. nicely done!
my bad, that's on the next vlog haha
Spoilers!
No I’m jk😂
Saw the livestream for the Lodge session and felt the pain for ya 😖. Hope you ended up coming out ahead in Texas. The Lodge and TCH seem like fun places to play tho
Booked a nice win actually!
people love you because you are still humble
Mariano, always remember what a very well named and respected poker player once said.. you have to win your all ins 😊
11:08 TREE FITTY!!
Everytime i watch a video i can still see the blonde hair. Its still haunting me that you might bring it back haha
🙋🏼♂️
Awesome man you’re playing in my hometown
The A8 was a bit of a punt in my opinion . What do y’all think ?
yeah a fold
position is important
Yeah, a bloated pot with a marginal hand multi way in the worst position. There are better spots.
Mariano was hoping to win the field position battle
It was questionable but not a full-on punt.
I subbed for the massive all in overbet call.
Great content and great to see you playing in ATX! Was able to watch some of the livestream so looking forward to that vlog - I did not see the early part but could already hear your commentary on that hero call toward the end ...
Used to drive up to Austin every now and then a year or two ago. Love the TCH room. Has a different vibe to it that the other card rooms don’t have. Awesome seeing you on The Lodge’s stream and hope you came out the overall Austin trip in the black.👍🏻
Haircut looks dope 👊🏼
That man tipped your bluff at the end and you gave it back😂😂😂
I gave a like for the intro alone
Yes! Another vid from Mariano. Love your content, man!
The tip chip from the guy on your left for that last bluff LOL. U Threw it back
Nice vids as always! I watched the Lodge Stream, and felt your pain in the early game.. lol Keep up the good stuff!
your thought process on that +$5000 pot, was spot on, you lost a lot of money but in my opinion, that was a very good call, middle position should've AND WOULD'VE folded if nobody called the clock, it looks like aa's vs set of queens or 8's... coming from watching rampage FOLD KINGS ON THE RIVER with no ace on board, this was satisfying and you will get that money back
you guys runner runnered each other in that double board plo bomb pot lol
Love Texas. Nice to see a couple of your sessions out there
For the AA slow play... at what frequency do you think that guy was raising with bluffs with only $500 behind after the 4b to $200? And with your image of losing the 2 large pots I think he would have called pretty light here with 99+ and other strong aces (less likely but still some combos). Your analysis otf was spot on and any overcard to those middle pairs would c/f. Even more reason to just get it in preflop.
just commenting to feed the algorithm... Love the content...I know you wish you could get that A8 hand back ..but hey its all about learning from the bad plays
Mariano has the best vlog its not even close. If he doesnt win Vlog of the year its rigged imo. Ryan D shoulda won as well great content. Keep it up
haha, good vlog, next time you will crush it and cash 10k+ at those games. Johnnie Vibes loved it there!
Paint shop and tire store next to the card room is good background
Mariano: is open ended..
Mariano:....I've only got an over pair...
No sé si hablas español.
Should have pushed that extra dollar to dealer! Nice bluff
Love your blogs. Keep it coming.
Wow man! The fact that you went out with about 80% of the money you bought in with is really admirable. That's pure "control". Salute to the man who knows what he's doing.
We will be seeing you on the WPT soon Mariano!! Great content from kent in England. If you ever come over the pond. I live near some casino's
Became my fav poker vlog because of your play good work bro
Thank you, Mariano
Fantastic content. A true poker beast
Win the little pots. That is my strategy 🤣
Hindsight is 20/20 but would of squeaked out a small win if you didn't get frisky with the A8 spades hand. Can't wait for the lodge session upload.
Great vlog as always bro.
But frisky is fun sometimes...
Enjoyed battling with you, nice vlog!
I hate Hold Em, but I love Mariano's Vlogs.
Love the vlogs Mariano, but to be honest it makes me jealous. Last session I played over 3 hours and was dealt 2 pocket pairs. And past 4 sessions no flopped sets. You get queens aces kings and 2 sets. Fuck that hurts watching.
Definitely a top 3 blogger in the game. Well done again
Owen Neeme Mariano are my 3 favourites
Welcome to Texas, mayne
These vlogs make me happy
You make me happy
Big games in Texas
I love the A8ss hand. I mean your read was good and you had the balls to go with it. Sure MP has KK but how often is his hand that strong? I think that is profitable in the long run.
I don't love this call. Even if you are assured his range is largely flush draws, many such draws have you dominated with their equity. A hand like 9hTh is 60% roughly to win vs the A8ss (making your call sort of neutral EV). If he has QhTh, you're in really really bad shape. This is not even mentioning the third player in the hand.
@@pokermudgeon2299 yeah some good points. I did think about some ultimately dominating hands such as top pair and flush draw but I just can’t see anyone THAT strong shoving all in like that. I feel it’s more likely 50-55% equity and even 40% is arguably enough considering how much is in the pot already. But like I say, I personally with top pair and a flush draw either call in that spot or possibly raise but shove, I don’t see it.
That A8s hand was bold to say the least
thanks
You are doin good on the views love the vlog bro
I would try checking more on the flop when out of position, especially multiway.
Keep up the great videos
Great videos Mariano, SDHS rules lol
Honestly, from what you showed us in the Vlog I think only being down $1400 on the session isn't that bad .That really isn't that much given how big these games are.
Texas Card House at Dallas is lots action. You should check it out when you have a chance.
Really interesting video!!!
How do you pair AQ and AK so much? I've just gotten used to not pairing them, bluffing the flop, getting called, then checking the turn and having to fold. Or when I do pair it, the board is super wet.
As8s ouch! QQ double ouch!
Mariano!! Watched the whole stream man flush vs flush was sick. I was curious about some preflop action. There was an instance you folded KQ suited to a three bet. Wondering what ur thought process was behind that hand!
Man I feel ya with those brutal losses, and fairly lame premium card wins
In the 2nd hand didn't u win a side pot or was it tye guy that had more money call?
Love your content but just popped in to say....epic last name!
How much did you bet on the river , on the 53 of spades? It made a lot of sense just curious, you didn’t mention the size though
Oops, $250 I think
Another name for PLO bomb pots is bingo.
Wow calling allin with 2nd pair and thinking your good...love playing on a table with your action😆😆
Fucking savage bro
Thoughtful player, pleasant guy. Headed for great things IMO. Can’t get enough of these videos.
Nice to see live tables without the plexiglass crap again.
Come to Rounders in San Antonio if you want big games... with a $200K tourny this weekend
Better luck next time. Enjoy watching
I love how @8:18 the guy is basically just showing you his cards
O yea wtf😂😂. I didn’t catch on to that😂
@@Dyl3423 I feel like I see this so often in Texas poker. People will just straight up hold their cards in the air.
That’s kinda cool lol. It’s has a movie poker aspect to it. Not super smart tho😂😂
Love your videos bro
I paused on your flop call on the double board bomb pot. I don't like it because if you have the dead nuts on one board you're free rolling so you at LEAST chop here. Any callers you get you chop their money with the top board (worst case scenario, and still profiting)
That's how I always play double board. Do you agree here?
Not really multi-way. Someone else could easily have 75 along with a piece of the top board, which gives us a reverse freeroll
@@MarianoPoker True. The bomb pots I've played were all 2 card Hold'em bomb pots not PLO so that does change things as more people are more likely to have a 7-5. Thanks for replying.
I watched it live. Did you explain your thought process with your low pocket pair against a 1300 river bet......
New sub here, I think your a class act, thanks for the content
Tough game out there
Great vlog but that A8 hand was a questionable
Next time check out Rounders in San Antonio!
Nice work as usual
