i believe that how this mod works is having every location in the same world space, but rendering it on a different place; basically what this means is that everything is sort of in the same place. what hes demonstrating here (once again, i think) is that stuff is not colliding with stuff in a different place (how it should be but what probably was very very difficult)
i knew it wasn't impossible to make infinite maps. i did tell him to make infinite maps and he dought me it was possible but never say it's ever impossible because shortly after you find a way to make it possible
I wonder if you can make custom gravity in Source Engine. Like actually modifying the gravity vector. If so, it would be cool to experiment with planet gravity, by applying gravity toward the center of the planet on the player (and maybe every physics object ?).
@@Thegamecheats and if the engine reaches said limit the game should crash with a 'no free edicts' error. in goldsrc its more likely to happen than on source

we already have a infinite map in gmod... multiple to be exact, source starts getting quite quirky after a while on these types of map
the idea is to make it intuitive and not buggy like the other maps

The map was made with spacebuild and simphys cars / planes in mind, they will be compatible but its unlikely that im going to make procedural planets
