@@crowtein677 Meh, I walk fine. But I will admit, as a former Infantryman, these are probably much more comfortable and reduce injury. I'm certain it makes 12-mile road marches much more enjoyable. Try doing those in Jungle Boots, which I did many times.
@@DaleBroseIn the 1980's we were still being issued crap from the Vietnam era. Everything was cotton and once you were wet you were wet for the day ! Gear sucked as well. M16 with iron sights were high tech. Basic training in the Red Georgia clay with white cotton T-shirts. I was in the last cycle of recruits that stayed in the Quonset Huts ! No A/C only fans. Great memories.
Love the Reebok’s. They fit great. The thin soles are better than the issued ones but there’s not a lot of shock absorption, which unfortunately on rucks is hard on the knees
My experience with the T8 falcons they dry quickly but on a 10+mile ruck in 100 degree + heat you sweat so much they start filling up and leaking sweat
So sick. I feel so lazy watcing this 😂 do you have "active rest" like some days a week are light weights not to failure, shorter sessions etc. You getting stronger, have you got more/ bigger muscles?
Someone sell me Danner and why theyre good, Im actually in the market for boots rn: 1 Oakley Assualt 2 boot 2 Belleville Lightweight 3 5.11 Evo speed 2.0 AR-670 Only brands ive tried so far
2010 deployed to Kandahar. Those mofos issued us some Danner Combat Hikers. They were a bit heavy but also mostly meant for colder mountain environments. Decided why not wear them on a patrol. Our dumb ass PL decided it was a good idea to walk up stream in a waddi. Few miles later we got out and kept walking for another 8 hours. Boots had zero drain holes and zero breathability. It felt like my feet were boiling. Took them off at the COP and my feet were so white and pruned up, they also burned like hell till the next day, it honestly was painful af. Ordered Nike FSB as soon as I possibly could. Most of my time in I wore issue boots and never had a problem with those
SIDE ZIPPERS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED
Many of us wear them anyways
Not authorized. But can be worn. Long as you check with your upper leadership and ask if you can...you'll be alright.
That's the joke
@@zbishop90 fuck the higher ranks.lol yeet.
They are in the Air Force lol
Who is mad that Danner didn’t make the list 😅
I used to wear the Danner Rivot and loved them, until they changed the price to $400.
In my day we had 3 to choose from. Standard issue, Jungle boots or jump boots.
Probably why you can’t walk anymore

1980 -1984. 11 Bravo Black Jump Boots ! Today's Infantry Guys have dozens to choose from.
@@freedomridermorty4459 Me...11H. I had some jump boots. Rarely wore them. I was 25th ID so I usually wore jungle boots.

Garmonts are the best
I miss my old Altama Exospeeds.
Could you make a video about the best lower cost boots?
That’s a fantastic idea, and I’ll be making that video tmr now lol thank you!
Those all seem pretty low cost, but ig I'm comparing to leather boots u see in the trades
@@Viva_La_Vargas lol to funny man
Funny when I was in the army we had 4 types of boots, 1-combat boots, 2-jump boots, 3-jungle boots, 4-mickie mouse boots (for cold weather)
Garmont Bífida the Best boots 💪 i love them ❤
Love the Reebok’s. They fit great. The thin soles are better than the issued ones but there’s not a lot of shock absorption, which unfortunately on rucks is hard on the knees
The soft sole garmonts are also really good.
Back in the day, zipper boots were worn tankers and questionable aviators.
Maaaaan I agree with the list mostly, but damn the Danner Tachyon has to be up there somewhere.
Rockys and Nikes always were solid for my numerous rucking as a JTAC. For non-standard, it was always Salomon
Alt-Burg and AKU makes good boots 🙂
Canadian mk3s are some of the absolute best
Garmont. Mwah~😘 best boots.
I also reccomend the Danner Tachyons. Fantastic running boots and theyre tough.
Garmounts look so elegant paired with a Vintage gold metallic ball gown and matching clutch.
Doesn’t include under armour tac loadout boots - list wrong
Me!! I’m mad DANNER didn’t make it, best damn boot there is!! I still have a pair that’s over 15 years old!
The number 2, Rocky’s C 4 is no good. The sole is make of parts individually put together which falls apart individually.
Garmont best 👍 they come in 3 different weights to suit your needs I have the lightweight falcon fantastic . Yds swift for wetter weather
Best boots hands down are: Garmont T8 falcon, Oakly’s and the Belleville’s
Pog list
What ever happened to the Oakley SI Assault Boot? Tbh that shoulda been the honorable mention
Garmont supremacy
I wore Belleville for 4 years loved them
You forgot the Bates USMC boots 🤌🏾
Pretty comfortable until you 2nd cft were the sole rips in half.
The only flaw with Garmont boots is that once they get wet, they stay wet
My experience with the T8 falcons they dry quickly but on a 10+mile ruck in 100 degree + heat you sweat so much they start filling up and leaking sweat
Standard issue Belleville hot weather or the c390's never cared for anything else when i was in.
I own Garmonts and the Nike B2 both are great boots personally for me! I love my Nikes for rucks and my garmonts for motor pool!
I will live and die by my under armors in garrisons garmonts for the field
too bad zippers arent authorized 😭 before yall start yappin, “Sewn-in or laced-in zipper or hook-and-loop inserts are not authorized” DA PAM 670-1
Can do one about boots with aggressive tread
So sick. I feel so lazy watcing this 😂 do you have "active rest" like some days a week are light weights not to failure, shorter sessions etc. You getting stronger, have you got more/ bigger muscles?
Danner Tropics for me 😄
Start with a smartwool sock or something comparable. Not much can touch a RedWing boot only an opinion
3 Words:
STANDARD
ISSUE
MCRAE
It costs the least, it takes the longest to break, and it's ok enough.
I just switched to Garmont T8 and wanted to know if they are better than Oakley Coyotes, please let me know
I hate Bifidas, They rub on my fee pretty bad. The Garmont NFS are amazing though
Bifidas hurt me standing alot but the nfs are the best for everything
Personnel MOS look silly in side zip combat boots.
EURO ! TRAINING!
Reebok😂😂😂😂
Are the Reebok nanos electric hazard? Boots? Because my current work boots destroyed my ankle
#1 is Nick's Tactical Boot.
go actually operate little guy
Are side zips AR670-1 compliant?
Yes sir!

Yeah more than$100 is a rip.
The ankle your breaking is your own. None of these boots will stand up to hot cinder stone or sharp granite.
the nike boots are a joke
