- It's a little-known fact that legendary actor Salma Hayek suffers from stage fright. Salma reveals she copes with her anxiety by singing Eminem's "Lose Yourself" before going on stage. She thought she was losing it herself, though, when she bumped into Eminem backstage at The Oscars before presenting an award. Salma dishes on the encounter, and how she was so excited to see him that she accidentally sprayed him with water.

I play Lose yourself EVERY SINGLE time I have an Audition, or have to get on stage. THIS is so awesome to hear. She is amazing. Her Humaness and being so humble is such an inspiration.

Believe me, I pissed myself laughing when she told Kelly that she was so excited to see Eminem, that she spat water from her mouth when she screamed with excitement and then the way I try to clean him, it's a painful moment but at the same time very funny. 🤣👌🏻
@UA-camrs fan And dj too yeah i know, that’s fair to say but I’m sure that artists like eminem have much stronger fanbases than actors cuz artists can really move you and change your whole life with their music whereas actors don’t even create their own role so it’s more the movie that moves you and not the actors
I remember how Salma was treated on the David Letterman show back in the day. He mocked the name of her town and laughed at her. Now Salma is a much bigger star, there is no way Dave would get away with that now with all the diversity on tv.

Latinamerican Spanish doesn't have the letter z sound so it's hard to hear/learn the difference when English is your second language. I hadn't realized that a lot of English words spelled with an s are actually pronounced with as z like lose, shoes, business, etc.
