I could listen to this guy talk New Orleans history all day. Combined with the photos, this is a fun and informative video. I only wish it were longer.
+Misisipi Mike Isn't he great? Ed knows so about our history and he makes it fun. I wish I'd had a teacher like that in school!
Nooooo ... I want more
I have traveled a lot but somehow never made it to new Orleans. I always associated it with only Mardi Gras, very ignorant I know now. I went last week expecting not to like it and fell in love. So much history and beauty. I'm not religious but felt the spirit in the streets. I fell in love with quarter and am already planning my next trip
Pixie Perfect i am just in love with new orleans and i would love to know more before i visit. I am from Brasil. Can you tell me more about this beautiful and interesting city?! My email: mtdinucci@hotmail.com
Yes, it is extraordinary
You felt your father Satans spirit in the streets because that’s the only thing down in New Orleans streets and no one here who knows would deny that
It's amazing watching these old videos or pictures here without People being robbed...
As a person of Irish heritage I wonder why he doesn't mention the Irish in New Orleans??? "The still existing St. Patrick's Church was founded in 1833 because Irish parishioners wanted to attend services in English, not French. Immigrants from Ireland started arriving in significant numbers as famine began to drive them out of their homeland in the 1820s, a famine which peaked in the 1840s."
Y’all history stories and lessons over nobody wants to hear y’all carnage anymore no one’s interested
This brief video is fascinating and should be 10 times longer - thank you very much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ron Chapman knows everything about everything with new Orleans specially good Ole Chalmette...
Very interesting
As a Brit xx I have travelled all over the world most of us have a passport x 16 years ago my partner had to travel to the USA for business x asked me to accompany him ! I initially said no !! Was very interested in the American Red Indian but not Kardashian minded lol xx he thought about this and booked us a flight to New Orleans first xx Can I say I had the most lovely time as a European x the history x the people x and going up the Missisppi eating and loving the steam boat xx visited a so called mansion ( not quite English) but very gone with the wind x shame they don’t recognise the slavery history but hey !! Really enjoyed New Orleans as a European xx it’s not a dangerous place it’s history of the area xx recommend it to Europeans xxxxx
I need this video to be longer!!
