rasheemthebest don’t know about the other distributors but amuse goes by data and numbers. If your an artist doing good under their name, they’ll ask for a split deal which is 50/50, not a 360 deal. It’s nice it has some perks others don’t, but it’s just like any other music distributor. They’ll look out for you better if you have a relationship with the employees or if your an artist doing numbers under their name.
You can charge that blame to Lil Nas X lol no seriously though all of them are like that until u actually can show n prove the numbers data are up there to the roof and u getting lots of tractions buzz online blogs and offline, and or getting lots of shows headlines touring opening up for other top major artists etc. there's alot of artists majors like Boosie and other big names artists out there thats charging from $5000- $20,000 for features ( how u think my Zoe Kodak Black and DaBaby, NBA Young Boy got on lol) so theres alot of greta ways avenues to get put on and use other major top artists to get on their waves and tap into their fanbase to have their fans become ur fans super fans. And if the deal is good where u can throw them some extra cash or they can do u a favor along with that cash by even posting the track collabo on their social pages great promo marketing and even have them perform that song together at their shows where u the new artist open up for them and they can do the same, vise versa in your hometown think how much buzz tractions and fan u can generate and once these companies see that majors small top mid size labels venues agencies, managements co. will start getting at u.
Anyone here using AWAL that can give me a insight to how they work? As i'm in the middle of waiting for a response to my application to join but thought i'd see about other peoples experiences
Minister Of Badness nope they declined me but accepted someone smaller than me so i honestly dunno what they're looking for. The person they accepted only had 20 monthly listeners but i've got over 200 monthly listeners. They obvs aint got a manager whereas I have and they obvs havent performed yet but i have. So i honestly dunno what the formula to get in is but it seems wack to me
@Minister Of Badness OH and it's also worth noting that I know the other person doesn't have a manager and hasn't performed yet because they're my friend. Honestly so confused at this point as I tick basically the majority of their boxes compared to my friend.
Idk guys Im with AWAL and Amuse....just signed up with United Masters but haven’t distributed with Masters....to be honest I think Amuse is better than AWAL....
I think all of them are the same though unless you start having some tractions paying for your own promo, marketing having your own team doing the hard work none of these companies will be better for us or help us u say amuse is better why ? im sure if Lil Naz X was with AWAL or any one of these distributors label services he would still have the same success he has now with his viral hit song Old Town Road because he got that song on TikTok went viral from there and took off convert his fans from tiktok to his other social digital streaming platforms. the only reason i can kinda agree with u because Amuse (which also has investors and all teh others symphonic, distrokid, awal, tunecore, etc.) doesnt charge any fees to get ur music on all dgital platforms spotify, apple, tidal, etc and thats why Lil Nas X went with them he didnt wanna pay any fees but the amuse takes around like 15% i think for the free distribuion which nothing is free its just a loan business moves kinda. But u still own your masters unlike the majors.
Hi Lizzelbizzel let me ask u this how is AWAL treating u what have they really done for u,have they actually provide u label servives as they n others promised artists labels such as playlisting pitching to official spotify playlists and apple playlist tidal playlists etc? i know heard they have 3 tiers.

😔 If a label offers (to own _you_ for) a stack, just remember those are the only dollar bills you'll ever get from them. The next bills they hand over will be receipts for everything you "owe" them.
Damn. I used to use CD Baby to distribute but I couldn't afford it fast enough so I switched to Distrokid. But I haven't gotten a check from them vs CD Baby for my streams... I found United Masters but it seem a lil sketch to me so idk if I would distribute through them...
How do I retrieve my account from United masters.. my account was deleted by mistake
Keep it delete
Great video bro and great articulation
Love that , if it looks like a lick then your the lick
Is Unitedmaster international

@@slummadekell7626 do you have a spotify or apple music?
how's united masters?? i'm with amuse and i'm looking for a change. Amuse isn't bad...it's just gotten more stringent to release a record nowadays.
@@skydalimit wait why should we blame lil Nas x??
THANK YOU
You was talkin about empire years ago...Good Work...u should of did a video just on Empire ! 😂 lol
$20 a month though?
The amount of reac youd get o your ow would cost way more than $20 ,uited masters is the best one to me though, amuse aint it.
Very inded.
I can’t upload explicit song are video

Ric Self Made yea true.
Always 🔥
stop promoting distrokid give us awal link not distrokid
Well he kinda has too, that’s his sponsor he has to plug it. If he doesn’t, he gets no money from them. He could’ve put the awal link though
Am with Awal
BOW!! lol ✊🏽
lol....they are all low tier they don't do anything for the artist. You have to have a budget for your own advertisement .
