Seen Mogwai in the 90s in Glasgow at the famous Barralands ballroom... by far the loudest gig I have ever seen and one of the best. Amazing band.. absolutely amazing. Need to check their next tour dates and see them again soon
I followed then around in the late 90s. Roadhouse in Manchester when they played on the floor was ace. But best was Sankey's Soap; launch of RMX record. Mike Paradinas and Kid Loco Djing upstairs but they played live on mad loud dance soundsystem... was right up close and rememeber them taking Mogwai Fear Satan down to the drums and a glockenspiel. So tender. Then it went fucking LOUD AS FUCK. Pure joy.
I thought I would never see that ever again after they went "Hello we're Mogwai and this is 45 mins of arty wank" but then gave them one more chance at the Dougie Paul tribute gig at Ed Festival. Fuck me. A one off where they played everything from Young Team and CODY and it was INCREDIBLE. I cried about 2 mins in and stayed crying throughout.
i think this music may have been playing as the planets formed around a billion years ago. maybe not but i can dream, yeah? in any case its a timeless jam that will never die. attributed to Justin P. Gillespie

The ending is so wonderfully organic. I love that they just let it go wherever "it" wants to. The audience witnessed something really special here!
Seen this song performed live several times and it always blows my mind.
