As a toffees fan, I'd say Liverpool's best ever player would be Kenny Dalglish. If we could have someone from their current squad, I'd take Virgil van Dijk. I'd say their best achievement was the night in Istanbul ( still can't believe that happened! ).

I’m an Everton fan. I’m a bit older. My fav Liverpool sides were the mid-late 80s Liverpool teams with Barnes, Rush, Dalgleish etc…, even though that was the last time we had a decent side and they took a few trophies from us 🤣. We had some great matches. Let’s face it, we have not had a decent side in decades, so the rivalry has lost its luster a bit for me. But I’m a blue always.
As an older fan who remembers very well the rivalry in the 80's, you lot had a great side which won the league a couple of times.. That was the time when we all used to sing MERSEYSIDE MERSEYSIDE MERSEYSIDE at the finals.. Now it's all gone shitty and nasty again
I’d have TAA because we need a right back or Mane. Best ever player for Liverpool in my lifetime has to be Gerrard, he was unreal for them and at times carried the team for sustained periods of time. Even when out of form he always turned up to stick one on us. Best ever achievement: 6 Champs Leagues. Favourite derby: Gosling FA Cup replay winner in the 118th minute in 08/09 season. Unbelievable night under the lights at Goodison, especially as often is the case with derbies, we went into that game as underdogs.

I'm loving these videos. It shows that there still can be respect between rivals (even if most people don't want to admit it normally). Since most people will suggest the Manchester derby or North London derby for your next videos, I'd suggest a lower league derby video. Maybe Bolton vs Blackburn (since Bury is gone), or the Welsh derby.

It was August 2019 when I got to be in Liverpool first time to visit my favourite club Liverpoolfc. I travelled all the way from Singapore. I was having lunch with my husband in a restaurant when suddenly a lovely couple next to us talked to us and asking our where from. We had beautiful conversation about Liverpool as a city and my country which they like very much. Later they got to know our favourite football club and the talks changed 180 degrees. The husband became angry and started to hurl abusive language at me and my husband. Wow so many negative and racist words spoken about LFC. They were Everton fans. Me and my husband were really caught off guard and decided to leave the restaurant. What a traumatic experienced.
To give the opposite perspective. And putting aside all the usual banter and tribalism that we all love. I think Everton are a fantastic club. The passion and feeling the fans have for the club is amazing. One of the very best in the country in that regard. Something about the city that is very special. Both our clubs have fantastic supporters. And most importantly and what comes to my mind before anything else when Everton are mentioned is the way your supporters stood side by side with us all the way over Hillsborough. You have been unbelievable on that. Had our backs and the back of our city and its people for decades. Ultimately we all know people who support the opposite team. Often in our own families. So when Hillsborough happened it hit all of us. It means a hell of a lot that we had the blue side of the city with us. That goes way beyond football and will never be forgotten.
West Ham fan here - I remember once being on the tube to Upton Park when playing Everton, and it was around the time there was a suggestion that Liverpool and Everton might groundshare a new stadium (maybe 8 or so years ago?). We were chatting to some Everton fans, and someone asked them 'How would you feel sharing a ground with Liverpool?'. One of them instantly responded ' Mate, I wouldn't share a fookin Twix with that lot!' in the broadest Scouse accent. I guess you had to be there but he had the whole carriage laughing!
Also get down to Prescot Cables whilst your back on Merseyside. They are playing Saturday 11th v Ramsbottom and Tuesday 14th v Widnes (another mini Merseyside Derby) at their home ground IP Truck Parts Stadium, Prescot.
Something different for Liverpool's greatest achievement and say beating Saint-Etienne 3-1 in the 1976/77 European Cup Quarter Final second leg 3-1. Having lost the first leg 1-0 in France the win was the start on Liverpool's dominance in Europe over the next few seasons. Most memorable Merseyside derby moment would have to be Sandy brown's own goal in the league game in the 1969/70 season. Everton went on to win the title but that was shown on Match of the Day. I was at the Everton v Liverpool game when the reds won 5-0 and Ian Rush scored 4
Favourite derby moment: when both clubs got together to pay respect for the 96, a girl and a boy wearing blue 9 and red 6 standing in the centre circle. (forgot which year was it)
Best derby moments for me- as a 25 year old- are 1) Lee Carsley's winner in 04/05, one of the first derby's I remember 2) Dan Gosling's winner in the FA Cup 3) last season's 2-0 Anfield
Agree with Dan Gosling's winner. I was there and lost my voice after that goal. Last minute of extra time in a replay, there's no better time to finally score the winner. The noise from the crowd was biblical.

I tend to just dismiss Everton fans. I don't even see them as a rival. Utd are our biggest rivals, & City are our biggest relevant rivals. Everton are just that one club that bites at our heels twice a season for 180 minutes. We almost always beat them at Anfield, & fair enough, sometimes at Goodison they give us a good game that ends in a draw. But other than that, they're irrelevant to us. Utd have been our "El Classico" since the 90s. Don't get me wrong, I respect Everton as a historic club with integral roots in football. But as "rivals," they're miniscule & insignificant where we are concerned.
The New blues' ground is under construction, dock draining and ground preparation is going on right now, there's 2500 concrete supporting piles going in after the dock is drained. That'll go into June 22' it's happening whether anyone likes it or not, us blues' we LOVE IT!! I'd have Mane out of their squad, if i could choose one. The guy is class, works hard, scores goals and set's them up.
Goodison has more statues than Anfield. We have Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley displayed all year round outside of the Kop…everton display eleven of theirs on the pitch for 90 minutes on match day…
Charlton v Sunderland 1998 play off final Wembley… immense game. 4-4 went to penalties what a classic game✌️football at its best. Don’t have to be champions league. I could watch this over & over. Lot of respect for Everton, I support them against anyone else. However, I totally get the hate for LFC. I don't blame them for not wanting a bar of it. Best Everton player IMO was Kevin Sheedy, what a player he was and Southall. What a keeper, my word.
I am not much of a hard supporter for Everton since I am from New Zealand but I follow all their games and support them as much as I can. If I was to choose a player from Liverpool to join Everton it would either be TAA or van Dijk, Micheal Keane is garbage which is why I would choose van Dijk as a massive upgrade but Coleman is coming to an end so someone young like Trent would be neat.
Hi footy adventures would u come to the Burgh ( Johnstone Burgh) they play at keanie park and there is a game on Saturday at 2pm cheers mate (Scotland btw)
Best Merseyside derby moment: Divock Origi 94th minute winner and Klopp running on the pitch to celebrate with Alisson. To be fair though there's so many boss moments from the red side hahahaaha
Yer u do u love to say that’s ground was ares the fact your bums an couldn’t afford the place ended up with LIVERPOOL FC MOST SUCCESSFUL TEAM IN ENGLAND!!! Should of put your hands in your pockets. Minge bags
Just a point but some Everton fans seem to think they once owned Anfield and that they gave it to Liverpool, Which is bollocks because Everton only rented Anfield before deciding to build their own ground at Goodison , the then owner of Anfield decided to start his own team called Liverpool the rest is history.
It's daft asking people about "the best player ever". What that means in practice is "Who is the best player you've seen?" I can remember some players back in the 70s, but younger people can only go back ten or twenty years. Anything before that is myth and legend to them.
lfc's greatest ever moment ? Naming themselves "Everton Athletic" and moving into Our old ground Anfield. (The FA susequently declined to approve of their first choice of name). lfc's greatest ever player ? Dave Hickson. (Aston Villa, Huddersfield Town, liverpool, Everton). "I would have died for Everton. I would have broken every other bone in my body for any other club I played for but I would have died for this club.”
As a red Everton's show of respect after Hillsborough was there biggest achievement and Liverpool's was the show of respect for ryhs Jones and his grieve stricken family I find this video very offensive yes there is rivalry between us but unlike any other city we come together that's what makes the city of Liverpool the greatest city in the world

0:21 hahahaha hes a punter who lives by the ground. Jesus christ ive seen him arguing plenty of times with other punters over a fiver an cans of carling. State of them mongrels man 😂🤣
Saw you filming this!
Liverpools greatest football achievement, the coming together of both Everton and Liverpool fans after Hillsborough disaster in 1989
I tend to just dismiss Everton fans.
Try wearing the home kit when asking for interviews. You'll get more participation most likely.
We have Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley displayed all year round outside of the Kop…everton display eleven of theirs on the pitch for 90 minutes on match day…
The best player to ever play for Liverpool is Luis Suarez.
Liverpool's greatest ever players are Billy Liddell, Kenny Dalglish and Steven Gerrard
Suarez bagged a few goals against Norwich and that’s all Stevie G was way more talented
@@vlz.matthew What on earth are you talking about?
I’m a LFC fan but I was made up for them winning the FA Cup in 95 because my teacher supported Everton.
Thanks lad.....
Merseyside is Blue tho
@@jaycee6403 I’m just glad they beat UTD!
Pity they all wanted us to lose the year after
@@jaycee6403 yeah for Tranmere
Great vid mate from a blue 💙
At the very start of the video I didn't know Bradley Walsh was an Everton fan 😯
Charlton v Sunderland 1998 play off final Wembley… immense game. 4-4 went to penalties what a classic game✌️football at its best. Don’t have to be champions league. I could watch this over & over. DONT FORGET GROUND ROOTS WHERE ALL OUR SUPER STARS COME FROM, & the teams that gave them the opportunity to shine. I just love football. European super league would be nothing without these if it ever happened, respect to all that opposed it. Lest we forget. 🏴 ⚽️
Lot of respect for Everton, I support them against anyone else. However, I totally get the hate for LFC. I don't blame them for not wanting a bar of it. Best Everton player IMO was Kevin Sheedy, what a player he was and Southall. What a keeper, my word.
2:00 firmino ??
The new stadium is getting built
You need to get there a few hours before on a match day to answer questions
I’m surprised everyone didn’t say Salah
I am not much of a hard supporter for Everton since I am from New Zealand but I follow all their games and support them as much as I can.
If I was to choose a player from Liverpool to join Everton it would either be TAA or van Dijk, Micheal Keane is garbage which is why I would choose van Dijk as a massive upgrade but Coleman is coming to an end so someone young like Trent would be neat.
Mate you can be where ever you are I'm not from london but I suport spurs
Oh its decided were moving mate... they've literally started putting shovels in the ground at bramley moore
Hi footy adventures would u come to the Burgh ( Johnstone Burgh) they play at keanie park and there is a game on Saturday at 2pm cheers mate (Scotland btw)
I refuse to hate Everton. We're brothers, literally.
From a Liverpool fan ❤️
Your probably 12 with no friends no family no food no trees no wood no medicine no water no sharks no Harry Maguires no KSI' no hamsters
@@thehogrider1574 probably older than you
Everton are our great neighbours. I wish they would make the same comeback as Liverpool. YNWA
EVERTONS BEST ACHIEVEMENT IS NOT GETTING RELEGATED EVERY YEAR
What's that quote in Liverpool, That Everton fans are like a woman with no Bra, no support and no Cups 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Best Merseyside derby moment: Divock Origi 94th minute winner and Klopp running on the pitch to celebrate with Alisson. To be fair though there's so many boss moments from the red side hahahaaha
Why ask Everton fans cringe questions? Nobody gives a toss about liverpools past
Yer u do u love to say that’s ground was ares the fact your bums an couldn’t afford the place ended up with LIVERPOOL FC MOST SUCCESSFUL TEAM IN ENGLAND!!! Should of put your hands in your pockets. Minge bags
Why would you take Alisson when we have Pickford, that’s not what this squad needs. We need a RB or a CB
Great video
Just a point but some Everton fans seem to think they once owned Anfield and that they gave it to Liverpool, Which is bollocks because Everton only rented Anfield before deciding to build their own ground at Goodison , the then owner of Anfield decided to start his own team called Liverpool the rest is history.
Gerrard is the best I've seen in a Liverpool shirt
Building work has started on BMD. Only 3 seasons including this one left at Goodison
Then the ( red ) brick is finished

Liverpool fans didn't want to be on camera! No stereotype joke there at all.
I love the city of Liverpool though, people are great too.
It's daft asking people about "the best player ever". What that means in practice is "Who is the best player you've seen?" I can remember some players back in the 70s, but younger people can only go back ten or twenty years. Anything before that is myth and legend to them.
We already started work on Bramley Moore :)
T
lfc's greatest ever moment ?
Naming themselves "Everton Athletic" and moving into Our old ground Anfield.
(The FA susequently declined to approve of their first choice of name).
lfc's greatest ever player ?
Dave Hickson. (Aston Villa, Huddersfield Town, liverpool, Everton).
"I would have died for Everton. I would have broken every other bone in my body for any other club I played for but I would have died for this club.”
Neverton , what you coach said small club , 29 years ago you last trophy , that’s your biggest record, the only big record you have
Damn these bitters are desperate. You don't even have a quarter of the lore of Liverpool you shadow dwellers
Going down
When I was six years old my Greatest moment when Liverpool LFC beat Derby County 7’. 1 my favourite yeah for all time is have to be Steven Gerrard
Salah
Istanbul 2005
the 4th equaliser in the 4-4 FAC tie
Ian Rush
ian st john played for motherwell aswell
As a red Everton's show of respect after Hillsborough was there biggest achievement and Liverpool's was the show of respect for ryhs Jones and his grieve stricken family I find this video very offensive yes there is rivalry between us but unlike any other city we come together that's what makes the city of Liverpool the greatest city in the world
As an Everton fan, that’s the biggest load of B.S. i have heard in my life!!!
Didn’t know where that lady was going when she said Hillsborough was Liverpool’s greatest achievement
2_45_ how about winning 4 European Cups in just 8 seasons? That's pretty impressive. Then we come to Istanbul 2005 and Barcelona 2019.
lfc greatest achievment was moving to our ground
6 champions league and 19 leagues!
As a red from liverpool I thought this vid would be full of bitter blues. Got to respect them there. 👍
Respect to the lady for her answer saying hilsborough
Steven gerrard greatest player ever for me!
For Liverpool's best ever player or at least my favourite(I'm a Chelsea supporter) was Ian Rush.
