- This is a summer kitchen I built and felt this was an important portion of the project to highlight. I know it lacks some detail so drop any questions in the comments and I'll answer all of them. Thanks for watching and if this video helps please subscribe!

Pour the white Epoxy Resin with grey shade and make the counter top shiny
Cool, simple and affordable. Redguard is smart. One of my early outdoor jobs I poured on top of some plywood that the contractor had set up. After a few weeks the top was all cracked to pieces from the expansion and contraction.
Heck yes, my system works pretty well for sure!
You have to put mesh wire inside it so it doesn't break apart
I agree that reinforcement would help to get rid of cracks, but, with cement, the proportions of the composition and the speed of hardening are also important.
@@hakonarson2627 it must be a moderate mixture in jamaica it's 94lbs a cement to 9 cement bucket of sand same proportion of gravel I know with this mixture it won't crumble 🤓🤓

How have the cobinwts held up in weather ❄️? Looks wonderful
Dam i like how easy that looks . Now off to try it for myself. Thanks
Clay is the Ryan Reynolds of DIY. Keeps it short & sweet. Leaves you smiling.
That’s not a compliment. If Ryan Reynolds leaves you smiling, you have the humor of an eighth grade boy.
Few days hardwork and you just compile it less than 2 minutes. I love it so much!! Thanks
Very welcome, thank you!
que belleza!!!! es un sueño...
Amazing job bro 👍
Not sure which i love more. You're awesome, quick, informative display of concrete counter tops or the music. You just inspired a DIY project and an in home rap battle with my kids in the same video!!! Not kidding!!! This video brought energy! Love it!!
Man thanks so much, I’m glad you liked it! That sounds like a heck of a video!
Great job 👍

good job, good luck! from Mongolia.
Hi Clay, thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge. Can you share what concrete mix works best for countertops and also the depth you used in this video. Thank you
if you didn't read my question, do they sell this mixes at hardwares or I would have to create my own. Thank you
Thanks Danny, here is a link that will explain it all in depth. Thanks for watching! ua-cam.com/video/kpZ_sbKF1uk/v-deo.html
Nice family.... good luck
Excellent job….thankyou
Amazing!
Thank you!
Cool.
I've watched quite a few concrete counters videos and they've all said to work with a couple of people: one to mix and one to pour into the forms and smooth as you were doing. So, as a novice should I have two? I don't know how quickly I can work at smoothing the concrete out in the forms.
Thank you for the comment Joel, it all depends on the size of the countertop. In most cases you will have enough time to work it to the point of troweling. If it’s a larger top you’ll need help. This one was about 20 ft.² it was easily managed by being alone.
You could always pour a few diff batches, then do slurry coat and blend in after.
That way, could do essentially multiple smaller, manageable parts alone
@ Joel did you use light weight concrete.?
great idea !
Thank you!
Nice job👍🏾
Thank you!
This is very nice. My question is: the base upon which you pull the concrete mix, when the concrete drys up, do you remove it or you leave it there?
Leave there Use Concrete Backer Board
Good Mr...🖒
Круто! Nice work 👍🏻

Ótimo trabalho
Nice work
Awesome video! Do you have one on how to make those cabinets? Thanks,
I don’t have a video that specifically shows the cabinet being built but I do have a video that outlines the entire kitchen being put together. The cabinets were built in a millwork shop. ua-cam.com/video/c47B0yDb108/v-deo.html
What concrete bag is best for these jobs if we don't know how to mix our own portions thanks 🙏 looks great
Parabéns ficou show

Dam I need to learn all these skills respect for your craftsmanship buddy

Для гидрофобности я бы порекомендовал покрыть столешницу силикатным клеем (жидкое стекло).
For hydrophobicity, I would recommend covering the countertop with silicate glue (liquid glass).
Good job sir
All the best
Nice!!!
so nice
Thanks for sharing your video. It would have been much better if you added some explanation on how you came to you finalizing you project and materials you used to complete it.

Quikrete Countertop Mix is all out of stock anywhere. What type/kind of concrete mix did you use or the closes one that I could. Ty
Thanks for the comment, mix 1 bag of Portland to 2 bags of sand. Check out this other video, it gives detailed explanations for each part of the video you just watched. ua-cam.com/video/kpZ_sbKF1uk/v-deo.html

It can ge polished and glazed that would be nice 😮
Awesome! What did you use to protect the counter top from knife chops and to not have contaminants in the food?
Easy, sand the concrete top using 120 grit on a palm sander, give it a good rinse with a hose on jet setting or a power washer if you have one. Make a portland cement slurry using pure portland + water. Do not bother letting it dry out, in fact, give it another quick spray and wait for it to be absorbed (this will prevent the concrete from instantly absorbing all water in the slurry making it unworkable within seconds). Use a drywall putty scraper to spread it around...work it in good getting all those pores and holes filled in. Work quick though, give it one final scrape across the top to remove the majority of the slurry that didnt end up inside a pore or hole. give it 24 hours to set and dry. Sand it with 400 grit sand paper on a palm sander until its nice and smoooooth. You could also try 600. Apply a coat of XS-327 food grade concrete sealer.
Also, no counter is impervious to knife chops.. you will ruin most counters with knife chops and on concrete you will put scrapes into the sealed surface over time. This is why cutting boards exist ;). In fact its just good hygiene to always use a clean cutting board.
This is something I would love to try this. Perhaps I could attemp for an outside cooking area.
Very cool!

Amazing work! Thanks so much for making this video. How did you install the faucet? I noticed that the hole wasn't there initially, but then there was a faucet installed. Did you drill it after curing?
Yes, drilled it after with a diamond hole saw
I absolutely love your work, great job.
