Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) :
is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF is generally denser than plywood.
WPC boards : is Wood Plastic Composite board. Its composition is 70% virgin polymer, 15% additive chemical, and 15% wood powder. These boards are widely used in the construction sector for their high strength and durability
Mica : is actually the shortened name for Sunmica. Mica can be seen as a type of Laminate that is used in abundance in the Indian Subcontinent. It is basically a decorative laminate sheet used as an overlay over the wooden surface. People used to refer to laminates in general 'sun mica' or mica.

Very informative. Thanks for your good work. Is there any place in ERNAKULAM where they can cut the 8’X4’ ply sheets to manageable sizes so that they can be carried in a small lift to an upper floor flat. This information will be very useful. Otherwise I will have to spend lot of money for paying to head loaders to carry it by stairs.

Hi Ajay. Thanks for the detailed explanation in the video. Have you ever heard about D'Life interiors? Would you recommend to hire D'Life to do interior work? They are doing interiors using HDWRHDF and an MDF combination.

My experience was bad. They took an advanced and gave me no time to plan the design in spite of giving them my requirement as a list. The designer had no time no plan to include my needs. He wanted to slap the predicided plan on me which I did not agree to. They refused to return my advance either. This happened 10 years back when 20000 was a bigger amount. I do not recommend them.
