I caught my Mother giving my son black beans and yellow rice when he was 1 month….he was breast fed. He’s 6 feet 4 inches and very healthy. I was mad tho 🤣.
Liisssttteennn!! All that baby needs is a little piece of cornbread mashed up in some collard green pot liquor, and he'll be alright! Won't be hungry no mo'! 😂😅😅😂
My Mom said my Grandma was feeding me black eyed peas and cornbread mushed up in a lil black eyed pea juice. My Mom said I was munching away with my fat cheeks and I STILL love that meal til this day. Rest In Power and Peace, Gram Gram. I love you!❤❤❤❤❤❤
My brother weighed 10 pounds 9 ounces at birth. Within a week, he had rice cereal in his bottle and a bigger hole pierced through the bottle nipple....slept right on through the night, thanks to my grandmother. She told my mother to put some rice cereal in his bottle cause he was hungry and needed something else on his stomach besides that formula! Worked like a charm.
When I became a mother, I swore I wouldn't be this type of grandmother. Then, I became a grandmother, and everything changed! When my granddaughter comes to visit, I'm constantly examining my grand baby, feeding her, offering unsolicited advice, and taking over😂
I am completely blind, but every time I get a notification that you posted on my phone I make sure I have a family member describing everything that’s going on in your videos. I’ve never laughed so hard. Keep on doing what you are doing. Oh, and for those wondering how I’m typing I use a screen reader on my phone. Only thought I’d mention that since I’m always getting accused of lying about being blind by strangers on the Internet lol
@@DarthFurie Al oh Al yes most of the time it just makes me laugh, other times I’m like it’s 2023. Are these people trolling me or really don’t know about assistive technology?

This is too damn accurate. My grandma and auntie was always trying to feed my newborn son collards, mash and diced chicken, ect. It was sooo annoying. Be hot as hell outside and telling me to put him in a snow suit lmao
This was my Appalachian grandma. She had me running after headless chickens, that she just whacked the head off of at 4. And put flour and butter on a diaper rash. God love all of them grandmamas. They gave all of the love in their soul to us.
"a scratch on his face... A scratch on his face?!?" I know this ain't coming from the same woman who said she wouldn't even take me to the hospital if I broke my neck!?!
You can tell Jay is a young'un! Based on how grandma was walking and talking, I would have guessed that she was being visited by her granddaughter with that infant being her GREAT grandbaby! I'm almost 60 myself and don't know any 68 year old's that decrepit, lol! He's got my 85 year old black mom down perfect though. Funny how the older one gets, the older the age considered "elderly" seems to become. 🤣
Yes, I’m 61 and I agree. I figured she was the great grandma, but in defense of the young, she was 70 something and forgot her age🤣🤣🤣🤣. And 60 is indeed the new 40. Instead of changing what age is considered “elderly”. instead of constantly changing that age, I decided a long time ago that 100 was elderly. 🤣🤣🤣 Almost 60 looks good on you!
Oh my Lawd! My mom ain’t black, but she’s Brazilian, so this very in point… Except for the singing… Mom can’t sing to save her own life… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is better than any SNL for the past 20yrs!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are an amazing actor, singer, and entertainer!! If Tyler Perry, Hollywood, or some dang body dont grab you up they are all missing out on your awesome talent!! God bless you young person!!💜🩵💚
Lawd, the accuracy! Reminds me of both my grandmas. Interrogating their daughters like common criminals. lol Also, GiGi killed that "amazing grace" lullaby!
It's the wrapping them up all year round for me. My grandmother did this to my son from birth to elementary school. Po baby was laughed at cuz it was way too hot for all that stuff she had on him. He's grown now and I don't care if it's a blizzard outside, he will NOT wear a coat. I think he's traumatized 😆
This is my grandmother all the way. She would definitely say that baby need some pablum and she had many home remedies for ailments. I remember waking up one morning to see her slicing onions over my sister who had a chest cold and fever. I think I was about 7 and I thought oh no Grandma is about to eat her thinking onions sure don't go on people.. However, my sister's fever broke and she had delicious looking fried onions on her chest!! (no we didn't eat them)! I am now a grandma of 4... i had some old timey practices and saying from my mother and grandmother (may they continue to rest in peace)...
I remember my momma putting onions on my chest when I was sick with a cold. When I complained, she would me tell all the remedies she had to take as a child - a few onions ain't nothing. 😂
If this don’t sound like my momma when I had my baby. Always asking “why the baby crying?!!” And they feed the baby real food. “She was still hungry. I bet she’ll sleep nah!!!”
The way my aunt snuck my child cereal and applesauce first chance she got, with me knowing he wasn't ready 😢. Child ain't started actually eating until he was 15... He turned 15 in January this year 😐😐😐🤦🏽♀️🤣

If your kid has such grandma, Best thing you can do is let your baby's grandma take care of your kid with all the love they possess.
Exactly. It warms my heart. I was never treated well as a child and when I see children treated with love and care, it makes me happy.
