Love your hats! And the embroidered Fern Top! Your attention to detail is so spot on and this makes me want to make more hats (I have the hardest time finding hats that fit...especially baseball/visor style hats)!
Thank you, Casey! That Fern Top gets a LOT of wear. I'm on the hunt for some different styles of hat patterns to try...I've found a couple on Etsy that look intriguing, and I have a sort of mariner-style cap pattern with a shorter bill that I think might be easier to attach...if I make it, I'll share about it!
Love all your hats and they look fabulous on you. I never thought about a beret but what a great way to use up knit scraps. Yes please to a tutorial on exactly how to make one.
Your hats are lovely 🧢. I’ve made the Sorento bucket a couple of times but you’re version inspires me to make another for my holidays. I have some Faux Angora remnant that will make a lovely beret and I might just be tempted to make one of those too. Thank you for sharing 🤓🏴
lmbo at "junior chef hat"....Absolutely love the beret hat...I have to have one now. I have a bunch of wooly, knit type fabric I scored at Wal Mart of all places and it's screaming beret. YES, I would love a dedicated video on how to make your beret hat.....and thank you for offering us that option. I also love your visor. I can see why no one is getting one for Christmas, that one looks a bit fiddly but you pulled it off and it looks great on you. Love your videos.
All of these are lovely! 😍😍😍 I’ve been wanting to make a baseball cap for a while but wasn’t sure what materials to use. Seeing you struggle a bit with the construction definitely makes me doubt I could do it 😅, but the result looks so amazing!! Knit pattern testing… I suspect it’s the Lore Piar lenne top and I’m so jealous!! 🙈🙈 Can’t wait to see your take on it
You are correct - it's the Lenne! And I'm loving it! I think the struggle I had with the brim on the visor had a lot to do with the type of zipper foot I was using. I used the one that came with my machine, which has a wider base that just snaps onto the shank. If I had taken the time to attach my separate, very narrow invisible zip one, I think I would have had an easier time.
That Fern top is gorgeous on you, and I ❤❤❤ the embroidery! You have inspired me to plan a new project!

Thanks, Elise! I never thought of hats as scrap busters either, but they absolutely are. ☺

Thanks so much, Cathleen! I call 'em like I see 'em 😜. I'll keep monitoring the comments!
