It’s hard to sympathize with prosecutors who claim they’re too busy with their families to watch case dates. Meanwhile, our lives are being turned upside down. Sometimes, you can’t even find a job because of a pending case. And they want us to sympathize with their weekends and not being able to handle a caseload? If you can’t manage the job, then don’t do it.
On top of that, being in a no-contact situation means you’re probably not able to get your clothes, shoes, or anything you had at that house. You’re spending months without even having the basics. I spent three weeks without new clothes after getting out of jail. And then some malicious narcissist is putting you in jail out of spite and sitting pretty while you have nothing. It’s hard for me to sympathize with liars. Let’s not lose sight of the human impact on the accused and their families.

After what I am going through for the past 2.5 years, I will never call 911 or the police ever again. Never, no way Jose!! My girlfriend and her girlfriend stopped by my place, they brought with them narcotics ! I said WTF are you two doing!!?? Get that crap out of here before everyone gets home!! So I went for a walk to the corner and back to chill out. When I got back they said it’s all gone, can we take a nap ? Sure ok, an hour later I woke up from alarm, they did not. I called 911, my girlfriend OD and died, her friend went to the hospital in a coma and I got arrested then spent over a month in jail !! The cops blamed me for everything ! Charges with this case are far from over, all I did was call for help, this is how the law treats me In Illinois ? Never again…

I'm having great difficulty finding answers pertaining to what makes a crime, a crime. I'm facing ridiculous charges from a city attorney... (Hinder proceedings by disorderly conduct) where I spent 4 days in jail, request denied to be brought before a magistrate (4 magistrates in my town) wasn't released on my own recognizance, (even though I've lived in same home 20 years), & they bumped it up to a class a. All due to being a mother & ticking-off the city attorney, that didn't like us challenging jurisdiction. Crazy. And no mistake, they are out to get me.

I think we can agree on case law that if you're going to go for a motion like let's say motion for dismissal if you have legal grounds and you can also back it with case law undeniable power in motions and case law. Outcome of a previous court case in a higher Court similar to your case the outcome of that case determines your outcome or can

Why is it that we hear so much about "innocent people are convicted all the time," when we are living in a deteriorated society where actual criminals are found *NOT GUILTY* for crimes more than ever?

For the Judge that I had 2 + 2 = 7; zero energy given to listening and seing into truth, as if the outcome was already decided in his own head. It was.

If everybody took their court case no matter what it was to trial the judicial system will fall.
The prosecutor's job is supposed to be look at the evidence and determine whether or not it's a case that he could win a trial or take to trial too often times malicious prosecution is what is going on dragging out cases that they know they're never going to win or take to trial and just because you're looking at a jury of your peers does not mean that they have beyond the shadow a reasonable doubt. The entire purpose of plea bargains is to keep you in the system prosecutor to get a win but you feel like you're getting a good deal plea bargains are never a good deal. you're playing into to something that you did not do. I absolutely agree with your comment prosecutors have every single case they have the toughest job.

Falsely arrested for lawfully wearing a weapon, HONEST DA admitted I was not violating any laws, REFUSED to prosecute, pissing off the local chief of police.
ANOTHER DA elsewhere in the POLICE STATE OF LOUSYANA, as a favor to the local sheriff, REFUSES to back off KNOWING I am being prosecuted for the Ultimate Crime of Contempt of Cop

I was told by two attorneys so far n by one victim #1 they don’t like you son #2 they don’t like him do they. #3 they want to make a example out of him. I am sick I am literally in torcher. No answers no phone call going on 4 yeas n no evidence has been told shown or even gotten so far by 3 attorneys and nothing on the 4th in a year n 4 months. What is happening? This can’t be normal

What do you do when an off-duty deputy has a personal issue with you, and creates a situation to make a confrontation just to have an opportunity to beat on a guy who he believes insulted his father? So the off-duty deputy has his on-duty deputy brothers arrest his dad’s neighbor after the off-duty stalked the hated Nieghbor over state lines to attack when the deputy is back in his jurisdiction and co-workers to which he works in.

Believe that prosecutors should look at a case no whether or not they're going to win it if there is not exclubatory evidence and or a witness who is working with prosecution if they're having to draw it out and having problems getting a case together they're obviously not going to win and especially if they weigh the evidence properly hiding facts lying and manipulating the judge to get your way before trial is all wrong it happens way too often just because they have the charging decision of whether to take it to trial or not does that mean that they get to play with your life that's what needs to be changed if you can't win trial dismiss the charge
