Awesome video man! I love all things horror and Phantasm is pretty epic! Halloween has always been one of my favorite movies of all time! Dean cundey did great camera work. The score from Johncarpenter. Nick castle as Michael just everything was on point!
@@rhine_1988Some good movies for Halloween: The Monster Squad, Trick R' Treat, Night of the Demons, The Midnight Hour, The Forgotten One, Creepshow, The Gate, Lady in White, Killer Party, Fright Night part 1, The Night Flier, Poltergeist, Stake Land, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, House part 1, My Demon Lover and Pumpkinhead!!!
I saw "Halloween" when I was 14 years old when it was released. I saw it on Halloween night, and it was the first year that I didn't trick or treat, I went to see it with 3 other friends we sat in the balcony of a theater that isn't around anymore in my home town. Great choice for #1.
Nice list. A bit "safe" but hey to each his own. Love that Blair Witch is so high! Here are my top horor of all time: 1) (tie) Maniac (2012) and Sinister (2012) 2) The Blair Witch Project 3) The Descent 4) [REC] 5) Martyrs (2008)
Didn't care for Jaws and Evil Dead 2 as much as the rest of the series. Didn't like Nightmare 1 or New Nightmare much. Nightmare 3 is my favorite. Halloween 1 isn't in my top lol. So yeah my tastes are very different. But you mention movies scaring you which doesn't happen to me. I judge horror movies based on how fun they are. But at least you put my favorite Friday movie in the list haha. I haven't seen most of these movies to judge them. Terrifier 2, Halloween 2, remake, kills, Cabin Fever 1 and 2, Hills have eyes remake. Never seen original. Wrong turn. Jeepers Creepers 2. Scream trilogy. Maybe 6. Maybe House of 1000 corpse. Night of the living dead remake maybe. Friday 3, and reboot. Leprechaun trilogy. Chucky trilogy and Curse. Alien. But yeah a lot of good movies to choose from.

Making Top 31 Horror Movie list all day make Jack a Dull Boy.... Love horror flicks - best genre. My top would be The Shining (Nicholson version - there are no others).
Nice to see a REAL horror movie list. I appreciate your list. There are so many people on UA-cam that include movies that aren't "horror" on their list. But u delivered. A tip of my hat to you sir. Bravo,..... Bravo👏
Awesome list, and I’m gonna check out the handful I haven’t seen. I saw BWP when I was 13 on opening weekend and couldn’t fall asleep that night. Definitely one of those movie going experiences I’ll never forget. Liked it 👍.
Some great choices. In my opinion, Freddy is the greatest horror villain. "Dawn of the Dead' is probably my favorite "Zombie" movie. I definitely have to go back and watch "Prince of Darkness." When I was younger, I remember it being creepy as well as "The New nightmare." I barely remember it. Two choices, you lose me on are "Evil Dead 2" and "Blair Witch Project." I am not a huge "Evil Dead," fan and the second one very difficult to watch. "The Blair Witch" was all hype and no delivery. They got lucky but they did introduce the found footage horror. You want to check out a good werewolf movie, watch "Howl." I just rewatched it and it was still as good. It is definitely hard to put the list in order, but the original "Nightmare," "Exorcist" and "Jaws" (for the beach factor) would make the list. I love horror that is what makes it so difficult. Cool video.
Thanks for sharing. All the Blair Witch Project cast, as well as the director, were great at Horror Hound last March. Their panel was just so lively and endearing.
First time on your channel, love the video! I find it really refreshing and interesting that NONE of your choices are from the 21st century!! Great video and picks. I saw "Blair Witch" opening day and it was quite an experience. Like you, I find that people today tend to kind of dump on it for reasons that aren't clear to me because I re-watch it during the Season every year.
Thank you!!! Yeah, I don't understand hate either. I love it so much. I have so many great memories with Blair Witch. It's definitely one I watch every year in October.
Don't be afraid to say crap. There is nothing to be afraid of because it's not a swear word. Be a man not a mouse. Don't be a wimp. Don't watch the evil Dead in 4k or Blu Ray. I read that to ensure the best experience you have to watch it in low Fi video quality. So maybe in superbit DVD. I heard this has the best transfer for this. The article I read said you don't want it to look too clear because that takes away the grainy look which it needs to have the best effect on you. You want it to look it's best video quality wise also.
