TASSIMO FINESSE - Descaling your coffee machine

Descaling your TASSIMO FINESSE coffee machine is essential to increase its lifespan and to get the best quality drinks from your machine. Follow these simple steps to descale your machine using TASSIMO descaling tablets by Bosch.
1. When the “calc” icon lights up red you should descale your FINESSE. You need 2 TASSIMO descaling tablets, a glass that will hold at least 500 ml, and a soft cloth, you can order descaling tablets at: www.tassimo.co...
2. Step 1 Descaling: Fill up the water tank up to the “calc” mark and add two descaling tablets, wait until they are fully dissolved. Insert the water tank back into the machine and remove the service T DISC. Insert the service T DISC and remove the cup stand, place a glass that will hold at least 500 ml on the tray.
3. Press the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds, the descaling program will start and will last about 30 minutes. The status and descaling displays will flash, when the process is complete, the status display will light up and then you need to empty the glass.
4. Step 2: Cleaning: You need a soft cloth. Remove the water tank and clean it. Fill it with water up to the “max” mark and insert the water tank back into the machine. Place a glass that will hold at least 500 ml on the tray. Begin the cleaning process by pushing the Start/Stop button, the cleaning process is finished when the status display lights up yellow and remains lit. Empty the glass and repeat the cleaning process two more times. Then remove the service T DISC and stow the service T DISC away in the machine since it will be needed throughout the life of your machine. Fill up the water tank and insert it back into the machine and replace the cup stand.
