Regarding fire trucks having "nothing to do with farming", I've heard some people say that some farmers actually work as volunteer FF's (at least here in the states, though I cannot confirm the validity of this statement as a whole), so it's not entirely uncommon for the two sides to cross over. People just want to complain about everything, but I'd imagine that's obvious by now. I think it's a pretty neat thing to have some different avenues of playing the game that a lot of us enjoy.
I live in a rural area of the USA and there was a time that the volunteer fire departments where I live were made up primarily by farmers. So where I’m from farming and firefighting went hand in hand. Now when paramedic services were introduced that did change somewhat.
Farmers and Volunteer firefighters was hand and hand, me personally think it brings more life to the game and gives a nice little side job while waiting for crop year.
Here in Alberta Canada we own multiple fire trucks as well as water trucks/airport water tankers, not to mention Construction equipment as well, some farmers have 1-3 of everything

10:24 misconception used here with jaws of life and spreaders. The spreader, as you’re using it, is designed to spread the metal, between the doors and body etc, so the jaws can cut through the hinges/pillars to allow for ease of egress depending on the situation. The video is great and the models made by WMF are great too
nice to see WMF getting some love. I use their stuff more for making maps feeling alive - having a truck or two outside a fire station, or a snow plow truck parked outside a town/city building. Only downside is they don't often have great interiors in their stuff.

I know that emergency vehicles don't belong in a farm setting. But I do understand that having your own fire engines would be handy for on farm rescue situations like a barn fire for example or cats up trees. I love it!!❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤

It’s not about F console players it’s about the fact it takes considerably longer to make a mod for console, that’s even before you look at issues with licensing, third party scripts etc. the bottom line buying a closed system will limit your options. 99% of modders build mods in their spare time for free, you need a PC to build mods so it goes without saying they’ll build it for the platform they play on
Seeing a few of those mack fire trucks have gave me hope that maybe someone will make something like that for consoles I understand that the emergency pack has been on PC for a few months before it got its console release so a lot of the modders that make all platform mods are now naturally going to have to catch up and apply the emergency pack to some of their mods so give it time and in probably in a few months we will start to see fire trucks and emergency vehicles that are console friendly being released on the mod hub
I just downloaded these yesterday and the lights seem to not work correctly on any of the trucks. Some have working headlights and some working strobes but none seem to be working fully. Not sure why.
I'm very disappointed in the quality of WMF mods. They have a passion to include non-traditional aspects of the game (sim) and I love that, but if I wanted to play roblox I'd play roblox =P I hope they up their game a bit. I give them credit for modding, which is more than I could do. I just think these mods are too hyped for the quality.
They were made long before any requirements came out for them. These are projects made for the community. IMO, the cabs could have a little more functional interiors, but for the odd firecall, they’re not the the worst I’ve seen. Functionality wise, before the Emergency pack, they weren’t great, but now they have purpose. Supporting the creators is the only way to get them looking better. The mods are free though, should you just wish to try them
