Almost all educational channels have ZERO controversy, Vsauce is just the most communicative with the internet. Think your 3B1B, MinutePhysics, Numberphiles, CGP Greys, etc (Kurz is prob an exception)

Glad to see YBS youngbloods on here, one of my favorite channels on youtube. Just a crazy aussie dude exploring and having fun with his family along the coast, but always acting in the most ethical manner to the environment.
He seems like a cool guy, but "YBS Youngbloods" is such a a goofy name. You'd almost expect it to be some awful soundcloud rapper.
Unsure why everyone is tying controversy so closely to reputation. Sometimes controversy is unavoidable, even if you're perfect. As long as you're on the right side of it, your reputation is fully maintained.
You’re mistaking reputation with integrity and/or morality. Controversies tarnish your reputation no matter if they were true or not. Your reputation is the public’s opinion of you. For example, If you’ve been accused of crimes, even if you’ve never done them, your reputation is ruined because people will believe accusations more often than not. Even if they’ve been debunked, there’s still that controversy lingering over you

@@ovs4744charlie literally gives the most average takes imaginable towards most of the topics he covers. since when did having normal takes translate to dogshit takes? the only really bad takes i’ve seen him have are related to food, but even then it’s still leagues better than whatever the fuck xqc yaps about on a day-to-day basis.
also, can you blame a youtuber for chasing the algorithm? every content creator worth their salt knows that chasing that shit is the key to success/longevity. plus, most of the time, charlie uploads videos on the most random, insignificant things, so to say that all he does is ride on trends is completely false, and reads like someone who doesn’t actually watch his videos.
He has never given a hot take on literally anything before, all he does is just say what 90% of people agree with on any particular topic, all while acting smug about it in the most annoying voice ever.

@SmarterEveryDay should be on this list, his videos are fulled with childlike wonder around scientific topics, its hard to not smile along with him when he's geeking out about the every day physics behind something like a pully or how film is developed or when he's being shown around a submarine. the way he talks and interviews people and then breaks down concepts into very simple bits makes it so easy to follow along where you don't even realize you're learning.
