I kind of feel bad for Macklemore to be honest. Winning that grammy broke his whole psyche.
He kind of dug his own grave. That said, this video is wrong. He makes bangers and still does.
The difference is, he makes more serious music now and serious music don't pop off as easy as fun pop/rap songs.
The main problem for him was his battle with drug abuse. Also, becoming a parent stopped him from making music as often.

If they give up after being canceled, all we remember is the bad stuff, and they have nothing new to offer us for entertainment, so we let them stay canceled. I love when xqc points out human hypocrisy.

Music Labels do care if you did something, and if people are trying to cancel you. Sure they artist can self release music all they want, but the reason it doesnt get popular isnt because its just "bad". Its because theres no Label to release it and give good promotions for the song. So, cancelling does work for music, especially so.
