I'm slighty green leaning at this point, because I know the book. No spoilers ahead, don't worry. Both claimants suck, but in the book Aegon is actually a little bit better suited for the throne despite him not wanting it.
The fighting pits and Dyana are show inventions. The character doesn't exist in the book. Aegon still was a horny drunk, that harrassed serving girls, don't get me wrong. Just not Joffrey sadistic kind of bad.
If they are going to portrait Rhaenyra faithfully, people might change their mind is all I'm going to say about her. Because her character development is too much spoiler, but it's not good.

Yeah Rhaenyra was darker in the book and honestly I wish they had given her more of that. Vaemonds death in the show was nice, but I prefer his book death because Rhaenyra gave the order.
@@WLDB They toned down both Alicent and Rhaenyra quiet a bit.
She fed Vaemond to Syrax and Viserys cut out the tongues of five of the Velaryons "the silent five". But that would have made her seem way too dark for the show I guess. Too shocking for the main character.

Until she dies and after the battle of the Gullet, with Jace dead and Viserys the younger also believed dead, she will start to get more mad. Then the betrayal and she will become paranoid on top. It would be an interesting character arc, to show her go from sane to madness. Though I'm a bit scared of some of the fans not being ok with that, because they want her to be a better Daenerys.
Sounds so funny to see the reaction of green hoody dude as he believes Team Blacks are saint. Also Comparing Aegon with Joffery is like a joke, as he is not any coward and among the best dragon rider. Hope show does not remain biased towards black in the upcoming season & it reaches even greater heights than GOT. ( Also i am not Team Black or Green just enjoying badass characters from both sides & waiting for daeron Targeryan)

I love you guys, but saying that the first season of HOTD is better than the entire GoT series is i bit delusional. Also, Team Green will wipe the floor with Team Black.
I may have misspoke in the video, I was only meant to be comparing seasons to seasons and if I were to rank HotD along with Game of Throne seasons I personally enjoyed that season more than any season of GoT in its entirety. That being said If I was comparing HotD to GoT series as a whole it's hard to put it above the first 4 GoT seasons as a collective as they do build very well off each other. Also, it's just a personal preference that I prefer the small, tighter story of HotD compared to the grand epic GoT storylines. I understand I am probably in the minority here. And with that being said it's still a tight race for me, I don't think either is vastly better than the other. - Cam

Alicent was a teenager getting married to a old man near his death bed. She was manipulated and groomed into becoming queen. This is nothing compared to rhae who idolized and was in love with her UNCLE. Although she was groomed too (her dad even realized) the situations were totally different. Firstly, the worst person on this show is Daemon. They play that back and forth crap like they did with Jaimie, but in the end, this dude is horrible. Stop making excuses for him. He doesn't like his brother (the king). Everything he has done has been to torment his brother, belittle his brother, and even usurp his brother. That even includes marrying the daughter of the most powerful family in Westeros who owned the biggest dragon in the world. He didn't marry her for love. He married her, because she was the most powerful woman in the world.
As for Rhaenyra, she was more deserving of the throne as a child. She was more mature, more honorable, and more likable. Now, she had become a corrupt, entitled, lying, spoiled, uncaring villain. She didn't care one bit that her brother's eye had been cut out? Her brother, who she's been living with in Kings Landing for about 15 years...all his life. She didn't care. All she cared about was an insult (which was the truth).
