thank you so much! i’m a Photoshop user, so i thought Procreate would be a no-brainer, and i could just dig right in and go for it. Wrong! The official Procreate tutorial is no help either. I wasted so much time trying to figure it out til I found your tutorial. You’re a fantastic teacher!! ❤
Your big fan sis I’m 14 and I just started learning digital art from procreate can you make tutorial for shading and texture too please it will help me a lot
I always wanted to know where to start and just tracing the outline was a great start for me. I’m so glad I saw your video thank you so much for your help! I appreciate you so much!!
Making a portrait of my boyfriend and his little sisters for Valentine’s Day . They live in different countries so he hasn’t seen them since January 2020. His sisters are a lot younger than him (10 &5) so they grow an inch before you have a chance to finish your sentence. I hate that he’s missing out the on them growing up.I took my original photo from January 2020 (last time all three of them were together) and aged the girls up to their current age using recent pics I ( my mediocre photoshop skills finally coming in handy). You @Bardot Brush have a voice made for radio btw.
Good question! I have my DPI set to 300 which keeps the illustration nice and high quality (I usually try to keep my DPI between 145 and 300). The only problem with having a high DPI is it gives you less layers to work with.
@@TyraWashington do you have a link for your script brush? Where do you buy it? Is it an Apple product? Are the brush strokes/thicknesses controlled in the Procreate app? Thanks
Do you know if there’s anyway to fill in different colors of an image? Found a neat drawing of a mouse I want to use for a project I’m doing, but the colors are all wrong. Is there anyway to just drag and fill in different colors like I would with something I drew or will I have to outline the entire drawing and then fill it in? Really enjoyed your video btw!
Hmmm 🤔 you could use the automatic selection tool and then change the colors of the image that way. Maybe this video will be helpful to you: ua-cam.com/video/H51H86IJ4AM/v-deo.html However, I don't recommend taking someone else's art and using it as your own.
@@lindasaucedo2145 I have a feeling your background layer is hidden?.... So go to the very first layer called "background color" and make sure the box to the right is checked. Hopefully that works
@@lindasaucedo2145 Hmm.. the only other thing I can think to do is check the opacity of layer 2. Click the "N" on layer 2 and make sure the opacity slider is set to 100%

i really like your content, but im stuck with the pressure for making thin line in the beginning, i also searching of your social media like instagram or twitter and i not found it, so i wanna ask here, the question is so if you want make the think line in the beginning you just need to low the pressure or you have another tips for it? like settings on your brush studio, sory i just new on procreate like 7days using it, thankyou so much and bess you
Thanks for the question! The apple pencil is pressure-sensitive. So pressing lightly will create a thin line and pressing hard will create a thicker line. Maybe you could try the "syrup" brush from the "inking" brush group. Lots of people seem to like that brush and it seems to automatically put a sharp tip on the end of the strokes. My instagram is @TheeTyraMarie
@@TyraWashington can you please give me youe pressure sensitivity please? if you dont want send me its oke mam, i just wan to learn, coz i dont get in your videos. thankyou
Thank you so much @Dankind 😃 but YES! This line work can be VERY tricky. (Sometimes it takes me a few tries to get a single line right! ... thank GOODNESS for the undo button 😅) But it will get easier the more you practice!
Just draw a circle and then DONT lift your Apple Pencil until the shape snaps to a circle. For a perfect circle, press your finger on the screen while you are still holding your Apple Pencil down. Hope that helps!
I love this photo! I love that you gave the background info for it. It’s so much more real than the photos that are staged!
Honey, you do not need to explain why you blurred the photos, that is absolutely your business. Love, love, loved the video ❤️
Haha! You're right 😂 But thank you SO MUCH!

Question. Procreate isn't vector based. Do upload these to illustrator to create a stronger digital image?
Very helpful. Love your videos. Subbed :)

Do u know a good alternative to procreate for Android?
how can you add people to the photo?
Hi. My outline is on layer 2 but the actual layer 2 is dark gray. I miss the step on how to get that layer white. Help.
I even clicked on layer 1 & it still has all the photo colors.

In the video, I outlined the photo manually.
