Cool stuff , nice work . I's nice to see the ('32 , I guess) with a Ford motor in it .

Just in case you're interested on the '40 Plymouth, the tank originally was strapped to the bottom of the trunk floor. Your version looks pretty close... Enjoy your coverage.

Ok that makes sense. That's why I couldn't find anything on the frame. Thank you!

That ribbed roof is a nice custom treatment you don't see much anymore. Except you let it come too far forward, but maybe someone else did it.

The roof was off a Montana van and was free. I know stylistically it would have been better to "stop" the ribbs earlier I couldn't without making another piece. To keep the right crown on the van roof to the model A you rotate it 180 degrees. It actually looks good in person although not traditional.

hi Derek.Greg here in Joggins,NS.i am building a 39 Chrysler here now,Mustang front,Dodge power,8 inch Mustang rear, building the complete floor pans now.i was interested in how you were installing this Plymouth tank.the tank in my Chrysler and i 'm sure the Plymouth would be the same, had a bracket affair that went around the tank, top and bottom with a tar paper like insulator between the tank and brackets and tightened around the tank, then the brackets bolted into the rear crossmember and then the next crossmember ahead,if that makes any sense.i have pictures of just about everything i've done,i'll see if i can find any on the tank.

I suspect you're right that the Chrysler and the Plymouth would be similar. I think the setup I have now is quite robust. It's not stock but it's secure. I would still be interested in the original setup in case I missed something.
