Everyone talking about the super smooth segue but Alex's voice is so smooth and soothing in this video. I would totally accept his voice for a personal assistant (like Siri, Alexa, etc) or automated customer service or in a commercial. He and Anthony for all the airport and train-station announcements and stuff like that.

Got the same case 3 months ago, Lian Li O11D-XL, super easy to build it yourself and pretty good airflow. Just loved the hard drive case, super easy to swap!
Man, it looks amazing. But the first thing that comes to mind is if you didn't build this yourself, and aren't familiar with hardline tubing. Assuming something goes wrong with your system, it would be hell for the average user. And sure, there's a drain port at the bottom and a fill port on top. But you'll never empty the bottom rad's liquid using that drain port. Having done maintenance on my custom loops, with nearly zero planning in my first loop for drainage. I've become kind of obsessed with that. All of my new loops, I have a valve at the lowest component possible. In the case of 'this' case, you would have to drain from the bottom rad, as it's kind of the lowest point in the loop, But since it's pressed against the bottom of the case, no cigar. The more I look at the tubing setup, I think that without jiggling the hell out of that case. You'd have quite a substantial amount of liquid left stuck in the loop. All those terminals, and what not. Apart at the very beginning of your drainage you can get a bit of suction going that will pull liquid out of terminals to some degree. But in my experience you'll always have some left over. Like the VRM cooling, the top reservoir will surely drain itself completely, but the left side one, will surely have liquid left stuck in the, albeit super sexy, elbow joint. All this to say. That a person who isn't familiar with these things. I totally see them 'draining their loop'. And then if they aren't careful first fitting they unscrew will cause leakage. Unless the idea is that if anything goes wrong, to ship the whole thing back to them? That might suck depending on the severity of the problem. (IE, having to reset the video card. lol)
How the hell do you upgrade this freaking thing? In 3 months it will be outperformed by $2.5k builds and upgrading it, would require some serious man labor and downtime.
@@Pwnstared mostly RTX 30xx and Big Navi, which is the bulk of the cost and hassle in water cooling for this PC. Next gen CPUs (Zen 3 and whatever 14+++++ lake) I do not think they are going to be that much better from current gen, but I might be wrong.
For anyone wondering the cost of the components, I added up the costs on amazon (including the O11 XL case) and then just added 1.2k for the custom loop cost, (which I didn't look up part costs for as I am lazy and can't be bothered to look for fittings, and converting twd to usd is annoying) the reason for the 1.2k estimation is that I created a loop with EK stuff in the O11D with a mono-block and such that cost like $800 so I just added $400 for the special fittings and stuff, and in total the cost was around $4800
You absolutely under valued the cost of the water loop as well as the cost of the engineer and manufactur who put it together. It’s a custom water loop not a prebuilt and you also didn’t have to pay for labor…

I've got one these coming, $7500 down, I cannot wait to see it. Maingear has been great with customer service, they actually allowed me to switch from the 2080 I had ordered to the 3080 when the release was announced, as it was still in the "awaiting parts" phase. The only issue right now is the incredibly sluggish pace. I know that it's partially because of the virus but I ordered mine back in June and it only just recently changed from the "awaiting parts" phase to the "in queue" phase, so it's still not even being built yet. The change from the 2080 to the 3080 may also have lengthened the parts phase but I can't help but think this is still taking fffoorreevvverrr.
I was upset about that, but assumed that everyone on Earth must know the O11s by now, until I saw a comment asking "is that case available OEM or something?" and I went back, saw Maingear had snapped the Lian Li/der8auer badge out of it, and that Alex never once mentioned what it was and acted like the front panel IO had fucking anything to do with Maingear, and now I'm *A N G E R Y*. I expect better out of LMG.
I'm not going to lie, I usually stay away from prebuilts but digital storm has always been one of the nicest prebuilts you can buy. Actually making it seem worth the premium with the custom case and cooling they do.
You guys REALLY should get someone on the team that does data science work now that it’s becoming more prevalent. There’s a severe lack of content on UA-cam for it and it would be interesting to get a perspective on high end hardware outside of just gaming.
