If you listen to the first song on the album (I've conjured a mess) it will explain it more poetically than I will here lol but I figured I'd just lore-dump about All My Friends Are Ghosts here too.
It's the concept of someone (myself in this story) being so desperate to impress their friends at a gathering they're hosting that they'd try and sell their soul for societal approval. After dusting off their gramma's old spellbook, they're ready to manifest a wild party. Except the spell has a very different idea of what a 'wild party' entails...
Thus, the friends are killed and party together as ghosts, haunting the house and surrounding suburbia. But who could have been behind the murders, if not part of the the spellcaster's intentions?
The demon with the static vocals that appears throughout the album, of course. In 'This Is A Panic Attack', the ghost-host and the white-haired demon face off in a battle. It ends in the host being possessed by the demon, seeing as they are not magically skilled enough to fight off the possession rituals. Thus creating the redhead demon, a possessed humanoid entity w̶h̶o̶ i̶s̶ t̶o̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ n̶o̶t̶ j̶u̶s̶t̶ m̶y̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ h̶a̶h̶a̶h̶a̶ h̶o̶w̶ s̶i̶l̶l̶y̶ w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ b̶e̶
This music video was the hardest for me to make, taking 8 hours of work. I took extra care to splice together all the VHS clips and effects in ClipChamp, and I drew all the artwork featured in it myself on ibispaintX. That being said... I REALLY hope y'all enjoy lmao!! Really like the way it all sort of continues to build up for the first half; I'm sure there's some kind of metaphor there, and if not don't correct me.
I hate giving feedback that's just "yeah sounds good bro", but yeah sounds good bro. I might have layered the vocals that start at around two minutes ish a little more, so there's like a gradual gain in intensity BUT
