The only thing better than hearing him sing is to watch him sing! I’ve loved his voice since I was a kid, and I never really knew why I was so mesmerized. Now that I’m 43, and I’m finding out just how insanely talented he was, I’m even more amazed and obsessed than ever ❤️ He was such a good human. He saw the world, fame, humanity for what it was. Always standing up for what was right. I’m also really amazed at how deeply his fans all seem to feel his lyrics and voice. I thought it was just me! 😊

I was lucky enough to hear him live, back in 2007. All his performances are top notch. I mean... to sing in studio quality is much harder than one can think. And damn, how sharp he was. Paying respect to his audience and even the art itself. I always said that even though I'm a straight man, I can't imagine any man sexier than George. When I was younger, I tried to copy his style but of course I wasn't hardly an epigon of him.
George was written off by many as just “fluff” after Wake Me Up. All that blonde hair, bright white teeth and short, shorts. Yea, it was tough to see him as a serious talent. But serious talent he had and he showed himself to be an amazing songwriter, musician with incredible vocals!
