@@dmonk952 question is, how does intelligence come about? People become intelligent by equipping themselves with knowledge, and this knowledge they only acquire it through learning. No one is born a genius. Its people who develop passion for things and therefore open their minds to learning more with the goal of mastering that become geniuses. They dont just learn to become knowledgeable. They learn to even better their learning, and thats why i can show you something completely new to you and it takes you a week to figure out but you find there is someone just as non knowledgeable about it as you who can figure it out within a space of a few hours. 👍Agree💯 It’s the mindset that has to change first. Very difficult. It is so difficult, that not even God can change it. Just think of this: The children of Israel, in the Bible, were 40 years in the desert. All because of their mindset. This man may be young, but full of wisdom more than most older people nowadays. 1 of the top 5 interviews by Tom. I look at this once a week. Vusi is an amazing business leader, independent thinker, and concrete thought leaders. No fluff from Vusi, rather he is talking about one of his companies or talking about pursuing your goals.

What do you mean when you say emotion bro? What I mean is, do our emotions matter to the sort of achievement we want to accomplish? Cheers in advance for your reply.
what I mean is do you want the emotion or the progress? He explained what he meant by giving an example when someone is working out in Gym , the brain says don’t do it no more you have done enough but that’s just your brain trying to protect you as usual but that’s where the real progress starts when you’re start feeling the pain. So either you choose to carry on work out or quit you can’t have them both.👌👌👌
@@medebaruk1095 Wise words. I trade markets and overcoming the brains response to fear stimuli is the biggest battle but its once u get past that battle of emotion that progress is relatively easy as long as you use a method that works. Cheers

This interview just increased my appreciation for this channel and Tom's work. It is amazing that you are not limiting yourself to the American arena but are also reaching out to the rest of the world, truly worried and committed to find out how great potential is created and mastered. THANKS
I LOVE everything Vusi said...but his words are not new....more impact full is HOW he says them. With clarity and purpose. He speaks SO flipping well. Vusi I am beyond impressed. I love the way he thinks but he expresses himself so eloquently! Wow wow wow Tom thank you for this interview.
It’s funny I seen this guy while scrolling and constantly passed it , because I felt he had nothing to teach me. Not only do I realize how wrong I was , I also realized I just wasn’t ready for it. Listening at this particular stage in my life I can actually take the information from his wisdom and apply it to my life. Truly amazing stuff thanks guys
At first I searched this guy's networth and I was shocked Then I heard him speak and I was double shocked Thank you for making AFRICA proud love vusi from 🇺🇬
The knowledge that Vusi is sharing is very profound. I have taken away this: That the obstacles, the doubts are real, but overcoming them is also real. So its all a matter of choice really. We must choose to move forward no matter how we feel or what is in front of us. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the only way.
Thanks Tom for hosting Vusi and thanks a million for a brilliant and inspiring episode. Vusi is super inspiring and powerful and I know many people listening to this will be transformed as I have!!!
Agree. But, why are people like them not in leadership? Answer: We don’t give them the chance. We prefer the ‘familiar’. The ones we know are already in power. We, keep them there. Unfortunately. Sadly. If not, watch USA 🇺🇸 elections. Politicians in government half a century! Why are they still there? 🙂
You know it’s a banger when it’s only 9 minutes in but you’ve paused it three times already for the obligatory wow. Just amazing! Vusi and Tom we thank you 😊🖤

Nothing is more heart-breaking than an opportunity finding you unprepared. It brings me joy to know that I finally pressed play on this video, and yes, I feel liberated. Emmotions vs Progress Emotions : 1 Progress : 0
One year later, after meditating and reprograming my subconscious mind ( reading books, listening to affirmations, and following successful people's stories).
I have created a winner mentality. I relate and agree a lot with what Vusi is saying here ( watching this video for the second time). Emotions : 1 Progress : 1
Wow! I'm sincerely happy to see Vusi on this Impact Theory show. You just can't imagine how happy I am especially based on the fact that I just can't quantify the impact Vusi has had on me and my business even as a black man. Always dropping sound intellectual principles. Keep elevating the black race Vusi. God bless you.

Just watched it twice consecutively! Such an interesting person to listen to -- Vusi, an old soul trapped in a young body. Thank you very much for this, Tom!
I have watched this twice now. The message is powerful, the eloquence and elegance of his delivery left me smiling and wanting the conversation to continue. Thank you Tom for inviting such a fantastic guest.
Big Big Thank you Tom for establishing this platform that I can educate myself based on untimeliness information of your UA-cam. I escaped from North Korea when I was 21 and as Vusi mentioned that i wasn't ready to enjoy Freedom at that time. However I survived in a modern society now I am telling my story to the world. I've watched your videos almost two years. Every time when I watch your video, It blow my mind and I feel I can express more than before. You are good listener therefore, the speakers can deliver their message very clearly and your questions are very insightful and deep. Thank you so much.
Love Vusi from 🇧🇼🇧🇼 I love the fact he doesn't dismiss people's challenges and circumstances but he says you have an Inate ability to overcome and survive them and not only that and be successful. We just need to set up our mind to know and understand it's all possible
Working on yourself, reflecting, not playing the victim, taking responsibility, learning from your "mistakes", getting up and continuing are hard, but once you adopt the mindset, doors open for you.
Great one seeing these two incredible minds together. Tom, you and Vusi have been my idols for years. Can't wait for the day to meet both of you. The concept you both talked about regarding black minds being trapped in oppression is totally true. Looking at it from the perspective of the research I did over the past 5 years and what I stumbled onto that blew my mind, the problem you both are talking about summed up to a single term; 'paradigm' - the beliefs and subconscious wirings that form the behavioral construct of a person's life. To put it simply; it is the program human beings run on. In the case of the black paradigm, it was built up right from childhood when we were growing up in oppression, during colonialism. Our thoughts were entirely formed on the basis of inferiority, that black people cannot do or achieve anything significant. The thought in turn affected our education, politics, perspectives etc. It is the reason we do anything in our power as a people to subdue our efforts towards a better future. What needs to be done is for us to hack the black paradigm. And implant a newer one, a more empowering one. I believe that the best way to approach the hacking and reconstruction process is through the African education sector. It was such a wonderful talk. Full of insights and perspectives. You two are such blessings to the world.
"It's incredible to have someone who believes in you, even when you don't believe in yourself." I love that, but unfortunately not everyone gets that... but we could be the ones who believe in others.
Wow, just wow. My sister-in-law introduced me to your video today, thank you anita!, and it blew my mind. i just HAD to watch it twice. and subscribe. I appreciate all the heavy, powerful and educational dialogues. There are so many aha moments for me and, I, too, had all these thoughts rattling in my head, but didn’t quite know how to say or describe them. You and Vusi are brilliant together. you opened up a new direction for me to acknowledge my potential and the process i CAN take to get there. I’m profoundly grateful to you and for you, and what you do to bring awareness to one of the most debilitating hindrances to progress, THE mindset. my great takeaways: 1. so what?!! 2. momentum 3. skillset 4. mindset 5. my identity doesn’t define my progress 6. so what?!

1 of the top 5 interviews by Tom. I look at this once a week. Vusi is an amazing business leader, independent thinker, and concrete thought leaders. No fluff from Vusi, rather he is talking about one of his companies or talking about pursuing your goals.
Hey Dr. G mind sharing the other 4 top interviews by Tom?

I plan to subscribe to your channel as well. Let's do some work together.
He had me in the first five minutes itself..... This interview is simply VALUABLE!!!!
Either Choosing your emotions or progress is i think the key to progress.
Cheers
@@medebaruk1095 I'm appreciating your humble response boy. You've accurately explained it. ብውሕሉል ኣገባብ ኣረዲእካኒ ኣለካ።

"The 1st time you do anything is the worst you'll ever be at it" and the hardest it will be for you. Love it! Our beliefs about ourselves are the number one factor determining our achievements.
This is sooooo good!
I was literally making a meme with this quote to share on my pages, when beginners luck came to mind and now I can't make the meme.
“I shouldn’t but it doesn’t mean that I can’t”... this is great! Major life keys in this video!
Wow wow wow Tom thank you for this interview.
.I can not count the nuggets of wisdom in this video! I will watch it again and again until it becomes my personal credo. Thank you and much love.
I studied, worked in SA and met Vusi. Tom- Vusi is your soul brother. Simply a replica of you but living in JHB. I am glad you two met!
That’s what I was picking up during the interview, Vusi is our version of Tom in so many ways. In fact, they both reflect each other’s nature

Leaders of thought they are hey.
I am from Haiti; so seeing an African older brother speaking with that open mind is amazing! "LOVE IT"
I am Nigerian and I love Vusi! I absolutely think he is amazing. He is definitely one of the great minds in Africa.
At first I searched this guy's networth and I was shocked
Then I heard him speak and I was double shocked

Do you want progress or emotion?
as he said,
emotion won't take us anywhere .
Dear Tom,
I had to stop this video because I would like to thank you for sharing this treasure...I would call it Wisdom.
Great work 👍🏼🙏🏼
This was phenomenal, thought provoking, and life changing. Vusi is truly one of a kind. Thank you greatly Vusi and Tom for this gift to humanity.
“Faith is the ability to see the invisible, believe in the impossible and trust in the unknown.” - Nelson Mandela via Vusi Thembekwayo. Wow. ❣️
I never thought I'd see the day where two of my favorite idols having a conversation like this. As a South African I'm so proud. 🇿🇦
Thanks Tom for hosting Vusi and thanks a million for a brilliant and inspiring episode. Vusi is super inspiring and powerful and I know many people listening to this will be transformed as I have!!!

Damn. This is true.
I LOVE this!!!!
These are the types of people who should be leading our society
These are the kind of people I need in my network

Congratulations Vusi! On your achievements AND on changing the narrative of our country. I’m so glad my favourite interviewer interviewed you.
Man, this was more powerful than everything I heard from anyone on this playlist
I think this is one of the best interviews you had on your channel. Very inspiring! Didn't know Vusi but he now has a new follower. Big up guys!
Wowwww! What a brilliant human being. The first few words already - “ I live by two core principles ...” that’s it right there! If you want to succeed, just have core principles and stick to them! thank you , Tom!
So amazing to see my country man on one of my favorite UA-cam channels. I'm a huge Vusi fan! A change agent & best thought leader of our time.
Love from South Afrika 🇿🇦
So proud of my fellow South African brother representing us so well on Impact Theory!! I live in Bali now but my heart still beats to uplift our fellow Africans, because when we rise, we have an obligation to lift others up as well. #blessedtobeablessing
Nothing is more heart-breaking than an opportunity finding you unprepared.
It brings me joy to know that I finally pressed play on this video, and yes, I feel liberated.
Emmotions vs Progress
Emotions : 1
Progress : 0
you can not be prepared for all opportunities, the're some that will finding you unprepared.
One year later, after meditating and reprograming my subconscious mind ( reading books, listening to affirmations, and following successful people's stories).
I have created a winner mentality.
I relate and agree a lot with what Vusi is saying here ( watching this video for the second time).
Emotions : 1
Progress : 1
"focus on where you are in your part of the journey". Spoken like a true goat, everyone like to compare their life some even do it to their own kids.
I love how Vusi, Trevor, and many others are telling real and honest South African stories. Thank you #Tom and #Vusi
Agreed. Love your name by the way

This was by far one of the best Interview for everyone listening but especially for an african person. Thank you Vusi and Tom.
This has to be one of the most powerful interviews I have listened to in terms of how to effectively manage self. It has also given me priceless nuggets on how to improve my skills as a mother. Tom, I am so grateful for your willingness to be one who stepped up. We are so thankful for you both.
This is soo profound, definitely one of the most insane conversations for self check - Self leadership - getting started - choosing progress over emotions... What a session 👌🏾🤷🏾♀️🔥

Every single interview or video i watch of Vusi Thembekwayo leaves me with so much to digest & a lot to take moving forward. Thank you for this incredible talk. You have taken me and i will be watching even more of your videos Tom. ❤️❤️❤️
Vusi is one of the greats. Learned a lot from this one Tom.
Proudly South African all the way.
WOW Vusi you make me proud to call myself a South African
For South Africans in the self mastery space, this episode is mind-blowing. Vusi on Tom's show is next level.
I think I cried 4 times, this was an amazing interview. Thank You Tom. ❤
Just watched it twice consecutively! Such an interesting person to listen to -- Vusi, an old soul trapped in a young body. Thank you very much for this, Tom!
I felt the bromance in this one 😂 - Awesome episode, loved the advice given, you guys are changing lives for real. Thanks Tom!
thank god someone mentioned it lol
🙏🙏
Everytime I listen to you speaking, it just validates why you are my role model. I see everything I want to be clearly in you
Working on yourself, reflecting, not playing the victim, taking responsibility, learning from your "mistakes", getting up and continuing are hard, but once you adopt the mindset, doors open for you.
This gave the chills, so amazing. As a black African woman I really welcome and needed to hear all of it. Thank you 🙏
"It's incredible to have someone who believes in you, even when you don't believe in yourself." I love that, but unfortunately not everyone gets that... but we could be the ones who believe in others.
I knew that line was coming because I saw your comment ahead of time and it still hit me. When he said Nelson Mandela called him son.. 🥲
I’m profoundly grateful to you and for you, and what you do to bring awareness to one of the most debilitating hindrances to progress, THE mindset.
my great takeaways:
1. so what?!!
2. momentum
3. skillset
4. mindset
5. my identity doesn’t define my progress
6. so what?!
