I was born in Saskatchewan! They have some pretty clean rust free cars there but the best Canadian cars come from British Columbia (the west coast). Not only are they rust free they aren't UV damaged like southern vehicles.
Great cars from Saskatchewan - it is very dry. Also no salt, although the sand used on the roads in the winter can do a job on windshields and the paint on the front / hood.

2011 A sad day for TCs, the end of the road. 2012 international auto show, went up to Lincoln rep and asked about TC, he said no longer in production and I said see ya.

I'm surprised you both didn't get stopped at the border because they suspected you were smuggling Mini Coopers in the trunk. Did you have to pay customs on the expensive souvenir potato chips you imported? I'm sure Papa Bear would have liked a nice pair of moose mittens for the winter. I have to ask again, where can I get replacement opera light lens (white) to go on the B pilar for the half vinyl top on my TC? Exhausted looking to no avail. Tried cleaning the outer lens but nothing I tried will get rid of the yellowed rust look. My car is like showroom new except for those two small lens (on each side, one is worse than the other). Those on Anthony's Presidential and the Grand Marquis look great compared to mine. Help?

I’m driving an 11 ex airport taxi town car with 470,000 miles on it uses virtually no oil original engine) .I’m not a fan of those mud flaps but I wish I could get a set of those (thin stripe) white walls.I’m in Canada where everything is virtually unobtainable and over priced
God I wish they still made big floaty American cars. The way they used to glide down the highway 70 miles an hour turn in about 1600 RPMs they just don’t make them like they used to…..Oh my God I sound old.

The car has an automatic gear box with 4 gears. Why does it show in the cluster only "1,2,D" instead of "1,2,3,D"? Sorry for an uneducated question from Germany:) BR Tobias

Could you elaborate on this , please? The gearbox has 4 gears.Normally if you move the lever to 1 or 2, it just stays in these gears without upshifting, but I don´t understand why the third gear is not mentioned.@@scottd7222

I doubt it that the Merc had the same set up with the overdrive button etc.Normally it is like I said above: 1,2 and if the gearbox has only 3 gears, the 3rd is "D".@Jonathan-mp7xg
