These videos are gonna blow up over the next year, calling it early. The new Bronco is so sick and its confirmed now cause Cam has one. I bought an ST because of your ST build series and I still have your CS air freshner hanging on my rear view. Much love man can't wait to watch every video in this series and eventually get a BRONCO!!!
I got my build date for my 2.3 Badlands, a 20hp gain from just an intake is nuts. Just wait till more tuners are put out for these. I know COBB is working on stuff for the 2.3 Broncos.
Nice perfect timing we just picked up our 2DR Black Diamond manual Bronco yesterday. Waited 1 year and 9 months for it lol. Can't wait to start modifying it 🤣
I have a new '22 Wildtrak and it is wicked. I just passed over 100 miles on it. I am thinking adding the cold air intake and performance tuning it is going to be a beast!
Now, do the same test but add the Ford Performance Calibration. It will be interesting to see if you get 30HP and 60ft/lbs on top of your K&N improvements.
You hear anything from K&N about the 2.7 intake kits for the 2023 models? I cannot seem to find anything about if the current kit you link fits the 2023... I get my Bronco in about 8 weeks (after waiting for what seems like 10 years!) and this is a good way to get cheap HP and torques 🤯🥳 - Great video. Makes me miss Phx 🥺
With so many variables affecting dyno pulls done at different times, I have doubts about the power gains shown for that K & N. It would be more convincing if as an experiment, the stock system was reinstalled and ran on the untouched dyno immediately after the pulls with the K & N, for an apples to apples comparison, to verify if the power lost is same as the amount being claimed for the K & N. The idea is repeatability.
The fact it ripped the wheels loose that long is bad @$$!! I want to get one now...the K&N I mean, also that with a nice Flowmaster is a great way to free up power for a forced induction engine I figure.
Like the way the video is done - I am on a list for a 2023 Wildtrak and I plan on doing bolt ons. I like the numbers you saw but I am a bit hesitant with that weak plastic elbow piece you had to weld. Hopefully that gets improved in future iterations.
@@CameronAlford thanks for the response - I’m sure I won’t be seeing my Bronco anytime soon so I would hope it’s adjusted by then. At the same time I see they commented on this video so hopefully they received the feedback as well.
I’ll be honest man, I had a not great experience at Goodspeed. I asked if they could do an alignment for my Miata even though it’s not listed on their “supported makes”. Instead of being direct and telling me no, I got excuses for why the guy didn’t know. He took my name and number, and then just never called me. Now, I admit I should not have gone there if they don’t explicitly state my make for support. However, their communication could be better. Now for the future: I wonder if they support the BRZs and not just the WRX/STI. It would be so convenient to get an alignment there because they’re a few miles from me. I’ll have to give them a visit again for a chance at redemption lol.
I installed the Roush intake in my 2.3 w/manual last spring - I honestly didn't notice any sort of gains (very minor turbo sounds too), but maybe its due to the fact that its just a filter and lid replacement? Wondering if I would see any sort of gains if I were to go with the K and N or the Corsa.
Thats on me, ive been all over the place causing confusion. Working to make that better with some new formatting with titles/thumbnails/etc to make it easier to keep up with what you are interested in. 2015 STi (Wont be seeing that until I have parts ready to go, she needs love) 1996 Impreza (Work in progress) 2004 Silverado (Daily) 2011 Mazdaspeed3 (Carmaspeed Giveaway Car) Bronco
That airbox fits so nicely and I loved the B roll of it in the garage. Great work

Thank you for posting this. So many posts out there say CAI don't do anything.

Do it. I bought an Injen CAI, turbo smart BOV, muffler delete, and colder spark plugs, running 93 octane mine responded nicely!
Wow, add the ford performance tune and you can add at least 50 hp on 93 octane. Not a bad at all
I'd definitely be turning my head if i heard a Bronco making those noises.
Is the top of that filter box really exposed? I'd like to see how that looks after a full day trail riding in wet/muddy conditions
Loving these recent uploads on the Bronco!
I'm rolling with the ford tune and Flowmaster exhaust and seeing this I might have to get it just cause right now it's bad ass and I want evil bad ass
When I installed mine, I first wrapped a beefy ziptie around the offending elbow joint, then epoxied the snot out of it.
The whole "Sweet....and then like dirt...feel great soon" about the coffee got me. Yea that's about how I explain coffee to my 3 year old
Hahah

So sick when you do stuff with your parents bro 🙏👌
Just amazing! How do you guys know how ro do this stuff. You guys are basically Auto Doctors. 👍

Dude those are some good gains! Now we'll be able to make it up that huge hill in the canyons😂
Sounds good, I like it.
You should do a series with a Jeep Cherokee and try to add performance mods to it, I have yet to see anyone do one
Maybe one day! Thanks for the suggestion
Lol we bought and built our st's similar and at the same time.. looks like we're doing it now with the new bronco haha awesome
Was this before the panda power module?
Did you actually flash the ECU or did you just let the ECU make its own decisions and still make those gains?

Haven’t had a problem with it and I’m sure I got a first batch that they improved on for sure

Quality content 👍🏼👍🏼
How far down did that grommet go? Same thing happened to me today. Gotta get it out tomorrow.
How did you put the Bronco in dyno mod so the limiter didn’t affect you?
Get the Ford pro cal tune. Keep your intake stock. Make more power.
Did u get any mpg gains with the intake?
why not install the pre-filter?
what's going on the your sti lately?

Yes
87 or 93 octane for the dyno?
Great video! We hope you keep enjoying your intake! We also have charge pipes if you're interested wink wink
Let’s run it!!!
Whoa it’s them!
How does the installation of the cold air intake impact ford warranty?
@@Hungernsharktoothit doesn’t impact it, they could only void something intake related and would have to prove the KN caused it
Running 87 octane right?
It looked like in the beginning of the video the piece you plastic welded was already broke.
sick
Please do more Silverado videos
Ayyyy my favorite! Hopefully more soon
What cars do you own currently? I lost track

You might find someone with a 3D printer to make a replacement flange for the one you repaired.
I'm pretty sure you use to date my cousin Brian
Well I know what my wife’s bronco is getting next.
haha, you'll be happy
Cool
Installing the K&N intake, you no longer have a cold air intake.
Jc put it in 4wd
I grew up in FJ40’s and 60’s bronco’s.
Broncos should Rumble.
No the filter looses power. And how dare u make fun of a bov. That intake is a terrible sound. I don't want to hear wind.
Loses, not looses. Egads!
Did u oil and charge the filter?
