Hey Jason, I know it has been over 2 years since you made this video, so not sure if you are still monitoring comments, but here goes.
I am planning to install the DriCore Smartwall product for the majority of walls in my basement. I'm getting input from a contractor friend of mine, showed him these videos, and he pointed out that there was no mention of how to address the building code requirements for vertical and horizontal fireblocking to prevent the movement of
undetected flames and gases to other areas through concealed spaces, like the gap between your foundation wall and the foam on the panels. I have already figured out a solution for the vertical fireblock at the top of the wall, but I'm looking for suggestions for installation of the horizontal block every 10 feet to satisfy codes. Not sure if this is a requirement in your area, or if you just chose not to include this step as part of the installation video series, but I would appreciate your feedback and/or any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Can you make videos for how to do the corners and how to seal everything up for paint

1st - my concrete floor bends the ramjet nails so I have to use tapcons.
2nd - I have yet to find a plumb treated 2x4, I really hate shims but it looks like the only solution.
Regarding fireblocks, won't a treated 2x4 ½ way up work as one?

You said dricore has 10’ sections. Dricore rep told me that they only make 8’. I need the longer ones to do my basement.

don't you have to do the floors first? or can flooring be done after?

It's just like putting up drywall. Preferably you put the "walls" up first then you lay the flooring. Mainly because you want to attach the bottom plate to the concrete floor. It can be done with an existing floor in place. You would just attach your bottom plate to the existing flooring and concrete.

Not a big fan of using any organic stuff in a basement. Even if it was pressure treated. Wonder if it can work with metal studs.

Yes, you can use with metal studs.

Where can find this 10ft smartwall? is it special order?

Home Depot and Menard's carry them but you may need to special order the 10 ft panels.
