hi, i have seen you on the sign forum and the ebay auction, my question is about heating material before or after, whats the process here, dry time etc.. more info would be great, im interested in one of your printers on ebay if i can get all the details. thanks again!
I had a Roland Cj-500 which I converted from an Fj-500 water base to an eco solvent printer and I did install a heat system on it, I hardly ever used the heater. Eco solvent ink sets up pretty quick, however if it exposed to constant sun without heater system it will fade a bit quicker then one with heat applied. You can overcome this issue by using a blow dryer as the print starting to come out the printer. I have vinyl sign on my truck, it still looks as good the day in installed it which was about 3years ago.. Dry time without a heater is about 15 minutes ..
