  • The homes of interior designers encapsulate exceptional taste and keen decorating instincts, reflecting their talent for finding unique pieces and seamlessly blending colors, patterns, and textures. Today on Homeworthy we tour four interior designer residences: a traditional northern California home, a classic and warm New York colonial, a Carmel-valley ranch home, and an eclectic 1950s Mississippi haven.

I watch Homeworthy every day. Love everything about this show, its content, and the Homes. Never have responded in a negative way on here. But, it truly was annoying.!! Sorry I offended you by stating my opinion.

@@lynnhutto7671 didn't you know that in today's world, you have to LOVE EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING? If you express an honest opinion, you are deemed hateful. Welcome to my world.

Some of these gorgeous homes have so much clutter and stuff on the walls it detracts from the beauty.

Can you provide the name and link to the first decorator’s upholstery website please? Was it Nancy Ethers? I can’t find her online. I love that green sofa in her formal living room which she said was from her own line-link please!

Loving it all so far and even though I love a lot of Johns home, it is a bit like a Shop and some parts remind me of a Grotto. Also, you don't need another John nor a porch, just open the Door the other way out. That will entail changing the Frame & lock and handle around. Eric & Brennan...don't get ornaments on top of books on top of furniture, No can do. CONFUSING!

I would love to hear more from real professional interior designers. Just because you have a hobby of decorating and you have a lot of time going on your travels doesn’t make you a real professional interior designer. Please stop promoting these people who literally live in model homes. I know that they can tell you what each luxury brand name is and how much they are so thankful that companies want their brands to be known. It gets old when every single lady without their family members present can get their house professionally cleaned and looking pretty, but it’s unattainable for 99% of the population who literally live by working outside of their house.

She states that she wanted a more east coast style of home so they decided that the house was old and they tore it down to make a “casual” 6000 square foot home. Okay, skip that video.
Knowing that California is so pricey and the fact that they were able to knock down an old house to design a 6000 square foot casual home.

The title of this video is incorrect. The title "Interior Designer", is incorrect. The first person is NOT A FORMALLY TRAINED DESIGNER. Those of us that are, earn a 4 year degree. These people are decorators.

I think most who say it
But sometimes people just have a fantastic eye and that’s more important
The very rich designer are fantastic definitely uk designers are the very best as the history of the country
The very best most people have never heard of
Be interesting to see if the make a full time living from it.

I understand wanting that distinction after four years of study in college, but I think the majority of people don’t know the difference-they’re all designers to us.
It “does” sound like the word needs to get out though, as it’s an interesting difference to know about.
However, I think the approach should be done with humbleness and kindness. ❤ Thank you for educating us!

Yeah, haven’t you heard of bored stay at home moms who spend the whole day inside their home and they’re lovely husbands who want to have a happy wife allows their wife to renovate and redecorate their own house for their content creator lives. I’m not sure why everyone thinks they can label themselves interior designers if they have the money to spend unlimited funds on wallpapers that cost so much money.
It should be called bored housewives who have content creator lives where they spend so much money and make brand deals with wallpaper companies and those companies give them products to promote through content creator platforms.
I’m sorry but just because you’re bored raising your children and you are not content with living a humble lifestyle offline then you are not labeled an interior designer.
One reason I feel passionate about this is because just because you record your daily life without your husband or children in the video, then you are fake

This is very difficult to watch due to the incessant use of “umm”…

    • @lynnhutto7671

Came to the comments curious to know what people had to say about this lady. I had already thought about all the Ums so I restarted the video. She actually said Um over 100 times in the first 10 minutes. With about the same amount of Ah in between the Ums. I stopped counting After that and decided I could not watch this any longer! I can’t imagine sitting through an entire dinner party listening to her!!!
