I had a breeding pair of Gold Severums. I got hundreds of babies from my first batch. The parents had breed before I had them. I took them out and hatched them myself.
Its like teenagers at a mall 😂 sheesh, breeding carnivores! 😂 Yes, we know what would happen, eggs equal energy, small fry equal easy meals. Im more interested in if the fry make it and grow ❤🎉

what i’m wondering is why you don’t let the symbiotic relationship develop in you’re 2k gallon tank, as in letting the fish eat the eggs and baby’s so you don’t have to deal with hatching and caring for the baby’s
even though it’s cruel it is a natural occurrence in nature
which is what i’m all for ( studying aquatic conservation )

I'm getting ready to build a 1000-1200 gallon tank. I plan to put my peacocks and haps African cichlids in there. But I really want to add Oscars and maybe arowana and sting ray. I thought that was kinda of no no but wanted to know your opinion on that.
