Thank you for your interest in my work. I used to dabble in watercolour painting years ago, and when I started creating textile art I wanted to achieve a watercolour feel. I found that using strips of fabric blended with organza work really well.
It’s called Tarlatan scrim or printers scrim. Alison sells it in her Etsy store. I think it uses her name as the store name! She uses it because it has a little weight to it making it easier to hold when doing free motion embroidery.
