That scene from a silent voice is maybe the most incredible scene I’ve ever watched. I’ve never felt my heart beat faster over a movie than at that moment.
People treat anime as a joke, the truth is anime tells a story that no movie can. I’ve spent thousands of hours watching anime, countless days binging, but even though this isn’t real I feel it just as much as I would anything else. I’ve never once in my life felt emotion, it’s something men aren’t taught to show. But this brings it out of me, I feel exited, sad, happy, powerful… I feel emotional when I watch anime, something I’ve never felt otherwise, not even at the expense of my family’s life, just because I’ve been taught not to.
just listening to Erwin's speech always gives me the chills but when I watch it, it's just impossible to explain the full feeling from the speech, just goes to show how good attack on titan is, it literally makes you drop everything you're doing to watch it.
It is not just anime, it is a start for many writers for the future, a start for the young to think and write. To see there is a point where it is so good many will remember it more than the writer himself
Anime broke my heart many times. Like every series i start watching, there is a part where its so hard to control. Where u feel the unbearable pain. So u just let it all out. All my comfort characters can't actually comfort me. Some of my closest friends aren't even real. All those melancholy smiles, tears, laughs, anger, sorrow... those are shared. They hurt me more than anyone knows yet i wouldn't trade them for the world.
Anime isn’t just a cartoon where you can just stare mindlessly at. Anime takes you on a journey and for me it can help me put myself in the place of a character and that way I am able to enjoy it more by being able to feel what’s going on. Anime is a truly amazing work of art!
