I am already doing my PhD and have published a chapter in a edited book (But Indian publishers). Currently I am working on an article which I would like to publish in an international journal. So if I score an international publication related to my PhD topic, would that help me to grab a phd exchange scholarship? Pls express your thoughts on this. Any response of yours will be highly appreciated.

I've seen somewhere online that the letter of motivation should start with Dear Sir/Madam, Dear DAAD Selection Committee, etc. If I understood you correctly, you didn't have this introduction? You started immediately with your story? I'm really confused since many don't mention this introduction and I don't know if I have to use it 😫 I'd rather not to because it is so easier to develop the whole letter without it
