I understand the PS3 mate. I was in exactly the same boat, I bought one (console only) for £30. It worked but was crazy loud because of the fan. I ended up paying to get the thermals redone. I kept it and thought it was worth it because theyre quite rare!

I don't usually buy consoles [I did today funnily enough] For £40 I think you did the right thing walking away. Can't wait for next weeks video. 😉 A little bit of foreshadowing right at the end there, haha. I bought one for £20. All because of the risk last year. I'm going to get it fixed at some point because they are a fortune. Also that 360 it could be the band. Take it out with some tweezers give it a clean put it back and you should be golden.
Just got back from selling at Bank Holiday Boit Sale had a few boxed games sold for 10p each and books etc 😊
Wouldn't risk 40 on a ps3 when he doesn't even have controllers. 20 would have been my biting point.

Hi Mitch can confirm that ps3 works fine I end up getting it for £25 as I could have got my money back at that I fully expected it to not work however I'm currently playing through black on it. I was shocked I got him down to £25. He who dares and all that lol

Good pick ups mate. Despite that PS3 being a backward compatible version I also would have left it at £40 as well - they do sell for a lot nowadays but there are quite a few bad ones around with ylod. I personally would have been interested at £20 but not £40. That 360 could have dust or dirt on the opening mechanisms which cause it not to close properly.

You need to buy a portable power station that has a plug socket so you can check if it works.

The backwards compatible PS3 are renown for breaking.. Even if it does work.. for how long.
I have so many backwards PS3 consoles, probably 80% don't work, unless it's from a 'private' seller at the boots with cables and controller I wouldn't touch them otherwise.

The media flap/ cover on the 60gb ps3 sells for over £20 on its own so would of took the risk
