I was at the colchester fc park and ride one too it was alright got there pretty late tho but still came home with a few games

@Retro Rummage I've always been PlayStation similar to yourself but 360 was my first console of that generation.
The paid online killed it for me [now its a given], when the ps3 dropped in price was a non-brainer. That said did have a soft spot for the 360 - I assume you'd be looking at a Ps3 once you've built your newer gamecube collection up a little?
Yeah mate I had a 360 back in the day as well I rinsed MW2 😂 I have actually been looking at getting a silver ps3 hopefully soon. Only problem is I’m running out of shelves for my games so might need to get another unit before buying one 😂
@Retro Rummage MW2 was my first ever PS Platinum. My 360 days consisted of Bioshock and Pes - had loads of 360 games was just a reluctance to pay for online.
Not sure if it's worth the risk, but may be worth looking at the original PS3 60gb edition can play ps1 & ps2 - so practicality wise may be worth it.
Failing that a slim or super slim given the new nature in said generation and better reliability.
I've got myself a 'gaming shed' just filled it with whatever consoles I've stumbled upon at carboots 😆 Need a crt TV thou.
Ngl it kills me thinking of half the games I've had in the past and the prices they're now. Best example and most regrettable is Pokemon [had all Nintendo handhelds] I've slowly be buying them back, I cry a little inside - though they're still going up so the tears aren't as bad as it could have been 😆

Car boots in Essex are so cheap. In Norfolk pretty much everyone is charging CEX prices for games 🤦♂️
