Love buildup videos, especially yours. No pounding, repetitive synth music, no time lapse, no lengthy video of trucks pulling onto the grounds, and you feature one ride being built (with a few extras thrown in). Can't wait until you get a big roller coaster build-up 🦥👍
Fantastic Job Dave and Simon, Thanks!
Whoever designs these rides to fold up like that... it's genius.
the young lad is absolutely amazing, ghost trains have always been my favourite , as they stay mostly at a nice level , and not hundred,s of feet up in the air lol
I went on a Ghost train just a couple or so weeks ago at aged 63 in Pelsall near Walsall. England 😅🎉
Awesome
Ok.... I'm gonna say what a lot of us Yanks won't... you guys take so much more pride in your fairs/carnivals! From the quality down to teaching and showing the young ones how it's done! That's definitely on my list of things to do! Experience a fair/carnival over seas 🌊.... much RESPECT!
Thank you so much ☺️
Yeah over there a lot of the rides are individual owner/operator deals. Family outfits. And everyone is always competing to offer the best experience. Some of the bigger fairs its not uncommon to see 2-3 identical ride systems, but they all look differently and a lot of the times they are operated differently as well.
Really enjoyed build up vlog that young man what a credit to his dad proper showman I hope they get well supported
Great to see his son helping out at such young age
Let’s all admit the people that make these rides and design them are genius
Wow thats so cool great video! 👍
its so interesting how they put up the carnival rides, and take down,
As a 70's kid l love ghost trains. The engineering efficiency of this ride is so impressive it puts a transformer to shame.
I can hear si ranting on to the showmen as usal 😂😂😂
Just found your channel and I think it's just great. Love it!!!
Terrific vlog. The engineering and the knowledge and skills never cease to amaze me.
Oh ! The young one knows how this thing goes together. Lucky, what, 12 year old? I wanted to set up rides when I was 12. What a machine! Thanks for the Vid.
This was so fascinating to watch. Not only how every little part fits into that trailer, but the fact they are able to assemble it completely from memory like that with out a manual. It takes me over 3 hours to put together a piece of furniture from Ikea! Well done.
TRUE PERFECTIONISM!!
Interesting video, enjoyed it. Greetings from the Netherlands!
It still amazes me how much work goes into the build up and tear down especially for those one day street fairs. These deserve every dollar they can get
It's good to see a UK based build up fairground video ,as I'm from the UK 🇬🇧- Subscribed
It's amazing how they make that into a ghost train it's kind of like a transformer!!! 🖤
Absolutely love watching how it is all put together and how much planning goes into these fun rides .
😊
Awesome video! Thanks for posting!
Brilliant build up video .Big thankyou to the Showmen for letting you film it.really compact build.thanks🦷👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTE GENIUSES
..DO THEY MAKE ANY MONEY THOU? BUT A 3 HOUR BUILD UP BLOWS MY MIND. AND THE KID TOO...HOPE THEY ARE MAKING ABIT. WHEN'S YOUR NEXT VIDDY ANYWAY? 😎✌❤
Was just as good on phone..I couldnt tell the difference.. Thankyou x
Ghost train Looks really cool machine
Thanks, always wanted to see that.
great to see buildup its best part of it
Nice one chaps loving the build ups 🍀🇬🇧👍🏼
Excellent build. Takes me longer than that to put together a family size frame tent.
Thanks for showing all the hard work behind the scene's
What a fun video. Very satisfying watching all of the smart design to get it all to fit in a single trailer and how the mechanisms work to snap it all together. Thanks for sharing !!
This was very interesting. Its amazing hiw all that huge ride fitted on a trailer
that's awesome thanks for sharing
❤️, haven't been to that fun fair for over 25yrs, oh well, maybe next year, it's difficult as I now live in the north, 😞.
That was so Awesome, Thanks Guys enjoyed it

Love Ghost train.....much love
Brilliant guys love to see a dodgem build up. 👌
Awesome video simon reminds me of how i feel when i wake up early in the morning lol
I've just discovered videos of carnival rides being assembled and it's amazing how such a huge ride can fold and be compressed into such a small package. I know it's a semi trailer, but still that's a huge ride
Brilliant build up
I love the lights on the ghost train good vlog Dave
Absolutely Outstanding
this is creative never this kind in africa...thumbs up team
Nice video
Ive found myself loving this channel. Found it a few years ago, only just started really watching it, absolutely love it!
Thank you so much, much appreciated
10/10 !!! Awsome vlog have to agree with others you really do the best build up videos !!! Can't wait for more 🙏🙏🎡🎠
It's always great to see the build up videos and really appreciate the hard work and effort that goes into the build up of a fair. The showmen and women definitely don't get enough credit for all the work they do so we can have our fix of fun fairs. #2Tokens

Great footage - love watching the build x
Madre mía... esa atracción esta para tirarla a la basura... esta todo que da pena, oxidado, roto... yo a mi hijo no le dejaría montarse ahí sinceramente.
I literally just rode this exact train!
Wow looks amazing
Fascinating watch Dave and Si, love watching a ghost train build, this one was awesome 👍😎😎
Hi Dave, what a superb piece of kit that ghost train is, amazing to see how it all folds in to each other, and only 3 hour to build up, that's super quick. I thinking these rides aren't cheap either. Please do more of these mate.
Fascinating! I loved those as a kid and always wish you could, for just a moment, get that excited and scared as one did back then. Also, I've always wondered, where/who makes these rides?
Brilliant build up vlog nice one lads thanks for getting up early to bring us this one appreciated 👻🎡🎠👊🏻👍🏻
Awesome vlog Dave can you do a build up vlog of a Round up please
Fascinating behind the scenes the effort and hard work!🦁🦄🐱🐵
Excellent video. Nicely filmed.
Great to see the young man working so hard to help. He shows a lot of willingness to work hard.
Once again you are filming very interesting things to see. Thanks mate!!
What a wicked build video, really good to see how it all goes together from the trailer. Nice one Dave and Si
I went to Hull fair yesterday and to my surprise. chadwicks ghost train was there so I rode on it
these videos are wicked love to see how these machines transform, fantastic engineering
Fantastic video Dave, I always wondered how the spiral lifts folded out!
Very clever design isn’t it
@@SlothyVlogs Yeah definitely! it's amazing how well everything interlocks
You should do a build up video for a Matterhorn or booster
Awesome 😎

Incredible video dude, love this exclusive look at how they're set-up. Whoever made that is a genius.

Einfache Geisterbahn ohne Gruseleffekt.
Amazing video David
I'm so happy you did another build up video. Always interesting on how rides are built. Thank you
And I went on Whitings ghost train Which was a new one for me

Now this is just Amazing to see another fine Slothy Vlog Build up on the channel of Edward Burtons Ghost train , its just awesome to see you & Si bringing us something different that is so interesting to watch and to see how they build up these amazing ghost train rides 👻 i do hope to see you do more content like this when you can its just so good Dave - Nice 1 mate you nailed it there 👍
Fantastic video, lovely to see the showman's young lad helping with the build up, he's quite a character. 13:01 "what's behind door number 1"? Some props and the paybox, love the young lad telling you what's behind the door, he's good with the hydraulic lifting mechanism too while building up the ride (I'm sure he's done that a squillion times). So important to get the ride level and get the feet propped up (had to do that with our speedway ark, check and check again each base strut was level!). Great thing with these modern rides is the ease of build up compared to the old wooden ones I've worked on. We had nothing modern on our fair and it was a long job painting and varnishing everything and putting it all back together for the spring. Love the skeleton bike prop, he's brilliant! Lovely to see these videos Dave, showing us what showmen have to do to put food on the table and pay the bills, it's hard work and rely on paying customers to keep their livelihood going. The rides have to be in tip top condition and the generators otherwise the money flow stops if they break down. I use to be an part time attendant on Gray Brothers fair years ago on their Skydiver (a Maxwell Paratrooper, sadly they don't have it any more), it was fun to get people to come on the ride and you use to have to shout "wanna go?", "come on guys, try the skydiver, the best ride on the fair" (in a cheery voice), stuff like that. Love that you got a free go, "testing it", lol, love the sound of the ratchet on the car clicking away, it's to stop it rolling back into other cars if it has a power failure, works like a brake.
