I don’t understand why some people complain that this channel is “Just a commercial”. Isn’t entrepreneurship and business acumen a GOOD thing. Besides, there’s never anything inaccurate in your presentations. So, go get ’em Teddy!
@Patrick Hudson Yes, I agree. I have, though, seen more than one comment along the lines of “Hey! This video is just a commercial.” I bet no one says that to the Long Island Watch guy. 🤣
If selling a quality product there shouldn't be too many negatives and as a consumer I know what I do and do not like. Even if it is a commercial, it's the best kind. The kind that sells me on the product without worry about a sub quality product
I LOVE the FKM strap. It helps to make this the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. I actually haven't worn any of the other watches in my collection since buying this. It probably helps that I went with the quartz version (a high torque swiss F06-115), so it's easy to grab and go. I still want an automatic version, though. I'll get that one in black.
1. you should have more subs 2. your taste in watches is fenomenal, you always present great looking watches and when you're presenting a line you really know what watch to show. GREAT CHANNEL
I mean I have big hands and wrists but I love small watches. I love that this is small yet rugged. I can loosen up the strap and let it collect all sorts of character and not pay any mind in the world to it.
Love the watch & dial ! Is it possible when you review a watch can you compare other watch sizes next to the watch your reviewing so we could get a perspective of size? Example msar next to skx or gsar or both. Nice review ! Thanks & happy holidays
Very nice watch. I’ve got a “Navigator” & love the tritium. Incidentally, I just received 3 Hadley Roma straps from your store (1 leather, 2 silicon rubber). I love them! They give my watches completely different personalities!
Agree that Navigator is a beautiful watch. Mine is 7 - 8 years old and the tritium is still brighter than luminova in normal (no holding it to a lamp) circumstances.
Love these watches, I love how deep the dial looks set into the case. Will have to own one at some point especially as it’s a relatively small watch so will fit my wrist well. Just have to work out which variant 😂
This watch is SO hot. That orange seconds hand adds a nice pop of color too. I do hope they come out with this in the 41mm version (I've told them as much on IG, and I've seen others with the same comments), because I wouldn't like 36mm on my 18.4cm wrist. It's good to have a diver for smaller wrists though, and it'd be perfect for a lady that doesn't necessarily want to have a traditional sized diver but likes the look.
I have a 7 1/2 in wrist but love the 36mm size of the msar but don’t want it to look like a toy in my wrist! I know there are different sizes offered but budget only allows for the 36mm which I’m honestly ok with, just wanted a neutral opinion, I used to be a police search and rescue diver and wiuld love to own this but I’m only wanting it if it would look ok! Thank you!
Did you buy them? I also want and can afford this 36 mm, bigher and automatic are very expensive where im from, more than 1000 euros. Im also police officer and has 7 inch wrist.
Dude watch the video from Teddy about him surprising his girlfriend with a watch/behind the scenes of teddy and his crew. You won't be I think teddy responded to your comment in that video lolol
I love this watch! I will be purchasing one this Friday. I was torn between the 36mm and 41mm, but most of my watches are 40 or above. So I think I'll give this one a shot as I do have a smaller wrist and I plan on wearing it anywhere and everywhere.
Just a warning, the 36mm is really small, dial wise. I own it, and it looks bigger on camera than it is in real life. If I had a chance, I'd change it for the 41mm, otherwise this watch is amazing.
I'll be honest since you opened up your online website I really hope you keep your integrity with watch reviews. I mean the watches you review you sell so why would you talk shit about them if they are? I really do like your videos though 🍻
I'm considering to keep the watch at the moment, have had it for a week and I'm unsure. It's one of the few watches which fits properly on my very thin wrist, but the thickness combined with the weight is distracting. Another thing of concern for me are the tritium tubes. Aside from the wildly varying numbers I find when it comes to their usable lifespan (12 years or 20 years, nobody seems to know) I can't find a whole lot of info on WHERE I can have the tubes replaced when they don't glow anymore. On forums people have asked the same thing and it seems like there are just a few places where they MIGHT be able to replace the tubes, but who knows if that's still possible 10 years from now? The glow on the tubes is fantastic though. Always the same uniform brightness and even at dawn the glow is clearly visible.
You probably got the answer by now but for the tritium tubes you can just send them back to marathon for a service after like 10 years and they'll replace all your gaskets as well as service the movement and change out your dial if you'd like them to for a new one with fresh tritium tubes
Really like this watch except for the seconds hand; for some reason that red just doesn't do it for me. Are there any other currently manufactured Divers in this size? I'd be seriously interested.
Rado with their captain cook 37, Oris does a divers sixty-five at 36 mm, and Longines with their heritage diver comes in a smaller size as well. Those might be interesting. There is also of course another MSAR with a black dial with a traditional white second hand that you might like if you like this.
To add to Teddy's reply, above, I would add the Timex "diver-inspired" lineup, that are 38mm, 100m water resistance, pretty straightforward. They're attractive, however. I have the Navi Harbor but my favorite for legibility is the Navi Depth. And of course, they're priced as you might expect.
I really wish you would use your own wrists for wrist shots. Part of what drew me to your channel is your wrist size is similar to mine, and a lot of other smaller wristed guys. So it sucks to see this watch I would potentially buy on a wrist nothing like mine.
It would have been really helpful if you would have put this watch on someones hand that had a small wrist... Otherwise, great review 👍 Also, what vintage looking lamp is that?
In comparing your prices on the Marathon you are high. It isn't worth the time / energy to get you to match a price. It is easier to just buy it from someone who has a great deal. Watch Mann OR Island Watch will get the order. You can be competitive if you really want the order. Feedback to YOU
That is a nice watch, and Marathon is a brand I do not own. However, seeing as I have just bought a Muhle Glasutte, buying one of these could earn me a divorce. I'll give it a week or two......
MSRP $850, our price $680. Teddy, did you just use a QVC trick? Shame on you ;) Thankfully you actually know what you're talking about and give a balanced view, so all is forgiven x
It hurts how the price has gone up $400+ on this watch after I discovered it 😢
I don’t understand why some people complain that this channel is “Just a commercial”. Isn’t entrepreneurship and business acumen a GOOD thing. Besides, there’s never anything inaccurate in your presentations. So, go get ’em Teddy!
I think it's a smart way for Teddy to be able to do watch reviews of watches that are not lent out for review.

Because IT IS a commercial.
As an owner of a Marathon Gsar these are awesome made watches. They are expensive but it's a lifetime watch and for $850 they're a bargin!
I've been waiting for this watch to be available! I'm saving up but will hopefully get one soon!

Have had the black dial MSAR on bracelet, quartz, since the summer. Is fantastic and I have a 7.75" wrist.
I mean I have big hands and wrists but I love small watches. I love that this is small yet rugged. I can loosen up the strap and let it collect all sorts of character and not pay any mind in the world to it.

Good idea, we can try to do that more going forward.
Very nice watch. I’ve got a “Navigator” & love the tritium.

Glad you are enjoying the straps, Chris. The Navigator is a fun piece as well. Thanks for watching!
can never have enough divers
Just ordered this today with the CAF clasp. Can hardly wait for it to arrive.
White dial seems like a nod to the Swiss railway clocks, which is not a bad thing in itself.
Sharp looking. Nice MIL-W-46374F Spec Dial. Perfect size.
I have the black dial version and it is badass. Not class, not beautiful, just a badass diver with incredible value.
Oh man. I might have to put this on the list for 2021.
I have 6.25 inch or 160mm wrists so yeah I’m on the fence on whether to get this one or the gsar. Man I I just wish they made one in 38mm.
Bought one through his website. I looked around and he has the best price. He must be selling boatload of this.
Love these watches, I love how deep the dial looks set into the case. Will have to own one at some point especially as it’s a relatively small watch so will fit my wrist well. Just have to work out which variant 😂

love the watch , is Chewbacca modeling it ? the Tufts of red arm hair LOL
Dude watch the video from Teddy about him surprising his girlfriend with a watch/behind the scenes of teddy and his crew. You won't be I think teddy responded to your comment in that video lolol
I have the jumbo and even that wears small. I can’t imagine how this one looks.
It’s a double upload kind of day.
Are you just looking for last minute Christmas shopper like me?
Haha just was excited to get this one out.
I wish my wife would wear something this cool.
I love this watch! I will be purchasing one this Friday. I was torn between the 36mm and 41mm, but most of my watches are 40 or above. So I think I'll give this one a shot as I do have a smaller wrist and I plan on wearing it anywhere and everywhere.

And I have 6in wrists... I didn't realize that dive watches wear better. I'm a newbie, and I've learned my lesson 😅
Damn, doubled in price in 3 years. Brutal.
Hey Ted keep up the good work one day I hope to shop from your website
Seiko used to make a lady diver at 33 and 36, this 36 marathon looks a lot like that watch.
I'll be honest since you opened up your online website I really hope you keep your integrity with watch reviews. I mean the watches you review you sell so why would you talk shit about them if they are? I really do like your videos though 🍻

The black version has a white second hand
The new rubber strap is much nicer
Is the hand red or orange? Thanks

Also, what vintage looking lamp is that?
$1300 bucks today… overpriced.
Any good video or website that describe how ( interpret ) you measurements. My wrist is somewhere around 18cm.
What is the weight difference between the automatic and the quartz?
Very interesting watch
This video doesn’t do it justice how small this thing is. I thought it would wear like a 38 and it wears like a 34 it’s minuscule
Been waiting on this one
Buying for my newborn son ❤️
Wonderful Video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Dear Teddy, why don’t you ship overseas? Greetings from a belgian female (!) watch lover!
Great video
Perfect for me.
good day
i like it!
It is a military style watch because it is actually a real military watch, not a fashion statement.
Marathon...👌
for a 36mm watch its very THICK

They look big on 18cm wrist.
£650 in the UK. Too expensive
No it's not
@@Totemparadox 2 years later?- yes it is!
@@andyburns6496 No it's not.
I like this 36mm. Butfor that diameter combine with THAT thickness, it is gonna lool like a brick.
Yep, it does. Also feels like a small brick on wrist.
Too bad it's not 38mm with 18mm lug width.
Interesting, even though it's too small for me.
Should have just made it a 38mm
MSRP $850, our price $680. Teddy, did you just use a QVC trick? Shame on you ;) Thankfully you actually know what you're talking about and give a balanced view, so all is forgiven x
They cheaped out by no longer using ETA movement.
Cheaped out? Hahah, you're a clown. It's not cheaping out, it's ETA not being able to meet demand.
Too thick! Otherwise, I’d take this down for my wife, (PADI Advanced Open Water Diver). I’d prefer a non tritium lume as well.
Love mine but let's be honest, you cant read shit on that narrow bezel while diving.
i would buy if it was a 39mm or bigger.....
:)
Too thick :/
Dude ya gotta get someone with better looking hands to do your videos lol them things gross looking
Teddy, please!
This watch look terrible 😒
It's to high, looks like chimney 😂
