- Elin is having a grumpy day. After all my adventures with Alice I wanted to do something special with my disabled girl but this day she was having none of it. When making daily routines for a complex needs child you sometimes need to be sensitive to the fact that they may not be on the same wavelength at all. Today Elin was tired, she was having a lot of seizures and needed rest.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

Elin you may not know your a famous little girl but you are loved and many of us pray for you and Alice and your mum. We love you all. Keep being a awesome little girl. Tell Alice she can help you enjoy the world thru her. She maybe your little sister but she can be your eyes, hears and fingers. Love you little girl. Tova I love you, your a great mum keep being you. @@ParentXP thanks. Most people can never say it right or remember it or even spell it right. I tell people to say Laura lies. My sister's Call me Lolly. My mum wanted it to be Laura-lee but when I was born she had a heart attack and my dad messed up the birth paper work. My dad then decided I needed a middle name and gave me my mum's first name. Men hey!!!!

Elin I also have days when doing very little is all I want to do. I don't know why but I usually feel better in the afternoon. Nice to see you having some fun in the afternoon and dancing with mommy.

Love ❤️ your sense of Humor! In my situation it is a God send. ❤ Garden 🪴 s often survive on neglect! Poor Elin having a bad day in this video! I think ASMR would maybe help her at bad times. Can find on UA-cam. ASMR different kinds.

Is the crying normal for her? I don’t think I’ve heard it like that in many of the videos you’ve done.
I tend not to film Elin crying. If she didn't have the brain injuries, how would she feel about vlogs of her crying being put on UA-cam..? That is my thinking behind it. But when I have shown a little of Elin's moods I've had a lot of feedback about it, people being curious about how she expresses displeasure or telling me something isn't right. So I'm trying to find a balance.

That sounds sad, is there anything your sister enjoys? Elin doesn't play as such but she loves singing so Alice interacts with her by singing and making her laugh.

She may have been, it's hard to tell. But she has had an enormous growth spurt this summer so I think there have been a lot of growing pains.
