yes there are.the basics are freestyle,jerks, and burns. freestyle is what you do before the break of the song comes and has a very salsa feel to it. now when the break of the song comes that when hit jerks(front jerks,side jerks, half jerks,full jerks etc) followed by burns.this only basics though as you get deeper into the dance you have to develop control over your body so that you dont touch the person your rocking against and crossing the apache line. look up king uprock

if you look closer mr apollo landing scientist, caster was wiping his nose (hence the little nerd outfit he was rocking at the time. It suited the character of his gear) and born wiped his eye to the lyrics of the beat. Gotta rock the lyrics and beats if you want to be a great rocker.
Rocking imo probably just as much fun as breaking. Theres the apache line... then you HAVE to break from start of the song to finish... then you're dancing with your opponent, making up random burns OH MAN.. fun fun haha

toprock is dance you can freestyle and everything but its only for you to get down to footwork. uprock is more diffrent. your dancing but your staying up the whole time. but there things in uprocking you dont normally do in toprocking. look at CRAZY LEGS toprocking, then look at DYNASTY ROCKERS uprocking. if its confusing let me know
