They see all this amazing technical shit, but they keep thinking: "we still have the reputation of being the best of the 80's, and we still can move our feet real fast" and they think that, by the virtue of all that's "real bboying", can beat a well-placed elbowflare. It can't. For this reason, sick ass crews like Knucklehead Zoo are STEPPING IT UP. I wish more people would.

America's best, started to either stop coming out to competitions, or a lot of guys stopped improving. If you watch battles mainly in 1999-2003, America was exciting, even with tricks and power.

Original bboys, from the 70's, had no power, not even a set six step, and the toprock was even different from the toprock in the 80's. They just went off on the floor, doing more of a two step type thing. Power came later, one of the first being the backspin. If you're talking about guys who did power in the 80's on Tv, those are not "original bboys," they are the generation that learned from the guys in the 70's.

why does everyone forget the the final 4 standings? 1. Gamblers vs. 2. Drifters 3. Zulu Kingz vs. 4. FURIOUS SOLDIERS. Rivers didn't make past the semis, they lost to zulu.
i think what i'm most annoyed about in this video is the fact that rock force keeps making comments or gestures suggesting that none of the people in gamblerz are dancing. i think it is not only hypocritical of rfc because only machine and the guy in gray were listening to the music on rfc side, but its the only strategy that they can really resort to when they are clearly losing the battle. just let the moves and the dance speak for itself and stfu. gamblerz came thru. period.
