I don't think it'll be as good as before, but here's a thing that makes it usable: Adamant 252 Speed Unburden outspeeds even Scarf Caly, now you only have to find a use for that. I remember the last month of Reg G having some Iron Valiants running Coaching, maybe it could thrive by going in that direction.
they're unhealthy in different ways. sneasler is unhealthy because it's fast, strong, and plays gacha with you. urshifu is unhealthy because it invalidates one of the most central mechanics of doubles. but, because people have gotten used to urshifu and only recently come to experience sneasler, they somehow think urshifu "isn't that bad" even though it totally is
@@a.v.y8331 Urshifu is technically worse, because it always invalidates Protect (well, unless Weezing is on the field). Sneasler is more infuriating because it adds variance to the game that wasn't ever seen, and you basically need a flowchart depending on what status you get.
Well, I don't know about Micheal but Wolfe was actively avoiding using niche mons around Regs F & G. Granted, I think He tried in Reg E alongside Rillaboom and it didn't really work.
Sneesler is really one of the best Pokémon in gen 9 I was definitely a pioneer of it’s usage been using it since PLA & from the beginning it’s able to be transferable into SV We made it #Rank 1 I done seen This thing out speeds & OHKO Flutter, Bundle, Regieliki And was amazing against the Dragonite & chien-pao teams that everyone was running
Wow! I never thought Sneasler would fall off in Reg G where legendaries and pokémon with better traits are roaming around!!!! Its just really obvious its gonna fall off like everyone saw that coming
Tbf I don't think something has to be consistent to be broken. It just has to have a really skewed risk/reward ratio. The fact that its a damaging move with decent power means there's often very little risk to clicking it as even when it doesn't put the opponent to sleep it's probably still doing decent damage.
@@MacZephyrZby definition it’s has to be consistent to be broken because 50% of the time you might not even get the status at all. Meaning dire claw is just a strong 80 power move.
@@Ron1nmeta What definition are you operating on? Because I'm pretty sure "broken" refers to something that breaks a game's balance. Not necessarily something that is consistently good. That's why you see things like OHKO moves and Minimize get called broken despite them honestly being pretty bad in tournament play most of the time. Neither of them are really that could but they can cheese individual games on the occasions they work because the potential attached rewards are astronomically high.
@@MacZephyrZ you got busted then you have broken urshifu is broken in every sense of the word. You can’t argue that. Sneaslers dire claw isn’t broken because you have to get the 50% chance and then another % chance to even get one of the most busted status in the game. If you don’t get the sleep and you get something like poison dire claw is just an 80 power move at that point. Dire claw can’t possibly break game balance because it’s has to bypass the 50% check chance first and another check to even get the sleep. Having a chance to break game balance isn’t broken by definition. When urshifu 100% of the time hits through protect and Crits you.
That's a very weird definition. Inconsistency doesn't inherently prevent a move from being broken. Let's say I make a new move: usable only once per game; its effect is a 50/50, half the time it does nothing, half the time it wins the game. That move, I would argue, is incredibly broken, without being consistent.
Sneasler with coaching next to iron hands is peak. You have two Pokémon threatening fake out, as well as coaching. Opponent can’t protect or you get a coaching for free. You also one shot fluttermane with dire claw.
@ I have heavy slam on my iron hands so even if sneasler doesn’t KO it hands will. My hands can. Survive a moonblast from max special attack flutter pretty handily. Let’s take flutter out of the equation. Miridon is one of the most used restricted, iron hands walls it pretty easily as well.
We killed Sneasler, all it took was a pokemon even more annoying than Sneasler. Handshakes all around.
Played one poor soul on ladder today still clinging to Sneasler and i quickly showed him why Urshifu is the true terror of vgc
Moxie boosted would never fall off in Regulation G

People trying to explain why it fell off like we didn’t experience this format with sneasler nowhere to be seen before.

I prefer 1000x play against dire claw shenanigans than 5 supports mons with a caly shadow rider

guys… I think sneasler might still be aight
*Unfortunately*
Tbh I don't care if people play Sneasler, my problem is Dire Claw
Sneasler lives in a meta where you have to activity justify using a fighting type that isn't urshifu
I still feel like everyone who's acting like Urshifu is somehow less unhealthy for the game than Sneasler is trying to gaslight me

In a word... Urshifu?
Me using Sneasler next to Zekrom: it fell off?
If Wolfe or MDB didn't figure out how to make it work after 4 months of Reg G then i dont think it's gonna work. And by "it" i mean any niche mon

@colonel__corn he still used some pretty crazy picks in those regs for online tournaments iirc just never Sneasler
1 Pokémon, Urshifu
Simple 40$ horse that barely got touched go brrr #justiceforthedogs
Did it even get touched other than loseing dynomax like everybody else?!
@mistereiswolf70 they lost 10 point to their signature moves ☠️
@@NotAlphaCentauri wow now it is weak enough to give it to some really weak ice/ghost types where it makes no sense.
I'm still gonna use sneasler
thank GOD
I wish they continued the trend and did like a dlc reg b format and c
What was the point in this vid we were never using this pkmn outside of Reg H we already knew it wasn’t good hence why G came 1st and nobody used it
Oh boy do I have bad news for you
Sneasler hate is crazy lol
Tactical hotdog ☠️

Regulation G is going to be so garbage. Gamefreak should do more like regulation H but just ban some of the emergent centralising meta mons.
it doesn't take a genius to know why they fell off
sneasler is so bad now that okidogi is the better poison/fighting type now
Played a poor sneasler player today… it switched into fake out + Tera starstorm
It didnt survive

No one needed to see that comming.... we already had a try at reg G and some people tried it, it wasn't good
Plenty of non-legendaries are thriving in G.
@@cabrondemente1 Yeah ik that, its just that Sneasler isnt good enough to thrive
I tried Sneaseler Coaching and it didn't work lol
I was very surprised to see that nobody in that tournament tried it, but I guess Urshifu does that too lol
You guys remember when Incin fell off slightly?
Id day the difference here is that sneasler had literally 0 usage
Anda so everybody rejoiced
And then groaned when they realized the price they'd have to pay: Urshifu being back >.
of course he's bad a this regulation with the amount of shit more broken than it lol
