huh, interesting, for some reason I get the feeling that a new halfling faction should/would be grand alliance destruction, no idea why. I guess it's because of how in fantasy them 'n' ogres were the best of friends.
Gnomes & Halflings are separate races from the old world halflings are related to humans and gnomes are related to the dwarves, Very interesting to see the two in one faction.
Halflings are also related to Ogors, being a failed prototype from when the Old Ones attempted to breed humans that were resistant to chaos, meaning Halflings are also related to Trolls/Troggoths, as those beings began as heavily mutated Ogors that stabilized into new species, rather than becoming entirely chaotic.
... I do love this idea. One of the reasons AoS and 40k are so appealing to me is that they have room to just like... 'make your own thing' - and this... this is someone who's done that to a wonderful extent. Also can we talk about that giant mecha-pig tank thing? >
I love that in the old world lore said that halflings and Ogers were made by the old ones at the same time, which explains why both races eat loads, and the reason Ogers have gnoblars is because they know they should have shorter companions, but halflings are so tasty they can't resist eating them.
In WFB they had rooster rider and swan riders. Now roosters can be really, really nasty. But one with the size of a cassovary? Yeah I fear thrm more than bloodknights. Regular swans also have no trouble breaking human bones. Please do not piss of swans by the way. So a swan big enough for a halfling to ride... scary
I just saw Khornate Halfing Blood Bowl team today, and I not only want these "Khorne on the Cob" models for my Blitz Bowl game, but I believe I now have a desperate need for hungry hungry halflings in my Warcry game as well. Thank you for bringing these wonderful concept and models to my attention. My Warcry game budget is a hatin' on you though. ;) Great content as always.
“Gnomad” is very clever. Even got GWs flare of renaming stuff to TM. Lol This makes me want to see what a community’s take on Snakemen in AoS would be like?
I wrote this tome 🤣 Plastic Craic stealing my thunder! Fair play, he is a rock star! Im so thrilled though to see them being given this treatment! Do hmu if there's anything i can help with later down the line We're currently finalising the tome and hope to have the project completed by the end of the year 🤞
It's a shame that Games Workshop makes very little effort to promote and advertise Warhammer Age of Sigmar. GW saves terribly, all the labour of love is done by enthusiasts. Why don't GW repeat the method of SEGA who bribed a lot of journalists, bloggers, UA-camrs and Chinese tiktokers to hear the praises of Total War from every teapot? The result requires investment, otherwise it does not happen.
Abyolutely disagree. Halflings, hobbits, Frodos are not part of the Age of Sigmar wargame. They was a joke in Warhammer, but just because. Because Tolkien and LotR. No, tinty hairfoot cook people do not need in AoS. AoS is trying to bring unique and never seen before armies and nations. Like the Lumineth instead of the boring High Elves, or Sylvaneth instead of the People of Legolas and Wood Elves. Sometines this all new concept fails, but that's enough already. We must refrain waking up what is already was. Try to come up with something brand new, but only if there is dire need of that. Usually not, not needed at all.

I'm gonna put them into my Soulbound campaign 😎👍

Smol gotta stick together.

I so want to see an official hafling AoS battletome. I don't care if it will be a joke faction or an unbalanced one. I just want them to exist.

I absolutely love this. As someone who is also trying to design custom factions, I'm going to dive into this faction book immediately!

Absolutely magnificent, I am inspired
i painted some of the old WHFB halflings earlier this year. they are great scultps and i hope that they bring these guys back.

I'd love to see a halfling army for aos. I'd start one in a heartbeat. Only thing close right now are ratling snipers for 40k
Incredibly cool
I feel like destruction would’ve fit these guys better
Best faction, I wish this was canon
I wrote this tome 🤣

Marc Wilson wrote the narrative and Owen Jackson has done the graphics design
There's a tonne of other helpers, they're all legends ❤️
Hey friend! Yes! Let me update the notes to give proper credit. I’d love to chat, I’m on IG, discord and my email is here on my channel
Me to the TO when hes about to deny my opponent playing halflings: let him cook ...like literally let him cook
I would want to see a halfling warcrizzle unit, but after that i think halflings should start showing up in cities and so on.
Craic is pronounced "Crack", the word is Gaelic for chatting and socialising. It also makes for a truly horrific pun.The more you know...
For Frodo!!!!
Craic is pronounced crack. It's Irish. Often phrased as "good craic". Basically means a good time.
Craic is pronounced like Crack btw

I honestly thought the halflings disappeared with the old world
There is definitely at least one, the "mysterious creature" feeding Glutos.

Halflings are part of Age of a Sigmar, they appear with Glutos on his palanquin 🤷
@@darrenwatson2718 Of course. Little Frodos are everywhere. Sure.
