I had the opportunity to see Ed live a few years ago, and the whole show is literally just him, his guitar, and a loop pedal, the things he can do are insane
Yesss! I’ve seen him live 3 times now I think and it never gets old! So amazing and such a great time! Just him on stage, but that’s all you need. When he tours again I’ll be there!

This shows what makes him so unique when it comes to his many skills.
When it comes to vocal skills in this song maybe Adele, Pink or Sarah Connor could do it, but everything together, with playing instruments, loop paddle and just putting all that together - I can't think of any current musicians

His music now is great but there's just something about his first album. When it first came out it was all I listened to for months.I still have the CD and I love to play it when i'm driving at night

I've been a fan of Ed Sheeran since 2011/2012, and no matter what, I never get tired of listening to this version! It gives me goosebumps every single time! I never heard of him, and I was so impressed the first time I ever saw him on tv. Ever since, I've been a fan!

His loop skills for bloodstream are absolutely insane
This is the song of his that caught my attention to his talent. When he opened for Taylor during Red all I knew of him was A-Team (which I liked but it’s so chill) and I assumed I’d be sorta underwhelmed by him as an opener but when he performed this with just him, his guitar, and his loop pedal and FILLLLED that stadium I was literally blown away.
I've been Ed's fan for over 11 years now... How crazy, time flies so fast. I love to see people react to his art, for me, it genuily is the greatest thing ever. Hoping to see more of Ed :D
That uniqueness you hear is the unrivaled clarity of his voice. The man has vocal chords of a god.

This is one of my favorite performances of this song by him. I don’t know if copyright would block it but he has an entire live show up on here X in Dublin or something with lots of great performances and it’s all just him and the loop pedal. It’s just pure joy to watch

This is my favourite song of all time, and controversially, I think the recorded version is better than when he does it live. The strings and the drums make it heavenly.

So as a kid so maybe like 5 all the way up to now i take granted of what Ed sheeran does so when I'm sad I listen to his songs 🎵 and I feel like many other people do this with singers!

There are many things that I love about this song. But if you'll indulge me...
Have you ever been to that prison cell within your mind where you land after some cataclysmic event in your life? Losing the love of your life? When you mentally collapse, shut down and withdraw within yourself for days on end, locked in a pitch black bedroom, in the pitch black recesses of your mind. Where you are Lazer focused on your grief and only have room for a short Mantra that loops endlessly. Bring her back, bring her back. And within that space and that mantra, you roller-coaster through the full range of emotions, from desperate pleading, dispare, anger, rage, guilt anguish, insanity, pure mental and physical exhaustion. Pleading, pleading. And finally, something inside of you dies. Followed by pure silence. You have surrendered. Eventually, you emerge and begin to put yourself back together. You may even make a good show of it, and go on with life. But a part of you has died. You can't get it back, and nothing will ever be as innocent or as sweet ever again.
To me, the last 2/3 of this song embodies that journey. I viscerally feel it. It resonates. If you're human, and old enough, you have experienced a similar journey. The fact that ed was able to translate that journey into an artistic expression is frankly astonishing . At the end, I distinctly have the feeling like, oh buddy, I get you man. I get you.

This version needs to be released as a single today. With no intention of charting, just for all of us to have an enjoy! I ripped this off YT to MP3 when it came out and I have it on a crappy MP3 music player before iPods came out! I'm sure it would chart anyways, it's pure magic. If you haven't done a live/accoustic version of Bloodstream yet, YOU HAVE TO! It's even more intense!

You need to checkout his live studio version you need me i don't need you I think he was writing it since he was like 15 and just kept adding to it over the year's there is a music video version very cool but you should see him do the full version on his own with just the loop peddle rapping for like 12 minutes straight the man is a muscle genius no one on the planet can do what he can it's incredible to watch it will blow your mind dude 😆 x
