Her droplet era is just ICONIC when songs like Fetish, Bad Liar, Wolves, It Ain’t me came out. This was her successful era🤧 but you can react to “Hands To Myself” too it’s a bop OMG there are so many great songs !!!

She's an underrated actress. I'm not a fan of her songs in general but this one caught me off guard. I can't listen to it without picturing the video clip. It's that powerful and relatable.

The fact that she wrote this song in 45 minutes is mind blowing! She needed to get this out, after everything she went through. Say what you want about her, but she’s such a beautiful and talented woman. To be so raw and open with everything in her life. She’s a Queen! ❤️
I love how she only performed this once and “the heart wants what it wants” once. She closed the chapters on these songs and that’s amazing because of how toxic the relationship was. She’s a queen.

I do like some of her songs, not really my thing in general tho. But personality-wise I think she's amazing, I love her a lot as a person, and it generally makes you want to support artists like that. This song is a good one.

I love the lyric “sang off key in my chorus, because it wasn’t yours” it’s like when it was his songs or something to do with him he’d put his all into it but when the attention was on her he’d pretend he was there and he was happy for her but it wasn’t as important as what he had going on 🥲
Also “set fire to my purpose, and I let it burn” I think this was a play on words to Justin Biebers album purpose (bc let’s be real the songs about him) and the way she says and “I let it burn” it’s like she was so I’m the relationship and so consumed by it she didn’t realise he was destroying her or she realised it but in the moment didn’t care.
I can feel how difficult for her to love herself back... I can't seem to stop my tears from falling she's badly hurt and confuse during that phase in her life.. I'm glad she's strong enough to handle it .
Can we talk about the lyric “to love love”? I think is very powerful, cause is saying that she is learning how to love in a healthy way after a toxic relationship
Great reaction! You should follow this up with her videos for "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and "Look At Her Now". The latter (LAHN) was released the same day or within 24 hours of this one and is kind of a sequel to it. Meanwhile, THWWIW is older but shows how her relationship with Justin was and shows her growth here even more.
The line in this song about being replaced in two months in the thick of healing was about how Justin proposed to his now-wife 2 months after he and Selena broke up for the upteenth time.... as she was recovering from surgery after a kidney transplant.

This song gets me everytime! And I´m not even Selena´s fan. But I remember very well what Justin did to her, how he got engaged to Hailey two months after their breakup. Of course no one knows what really happened, but it was very cruel. And this song is beautiful and so sad at the same time.
