      Deadpool is incredibly rad! I'm not even a comic book dude. Game is very top notch. The cut scenes have cussing, which is super weird to see on NES, and the gameplay is awesome. It basically fixed most of the things that make Ninja Gaiden frustrating, while adding things that make it difficult but not broken. The level designs are different, there are extra levels, and the weapon system is amazing. I still have most of the NES carts from when I was a kid, and Deadpool smashes everyone of them. There is not enough praise to do the game justice. And it has a backup save battery.

    Basic Championship Wrestling reminds me of the program I had to write for my final project in programming class. We had to write a C++ program that simulated some sort of gambling, so me and my friend wrote a program where you would bet on martial arts competitions, and then select what moves and hope you win. I'm almost flabbergasted at how similar our program was to BCW, but on the other hand, ours included betting, and wasn't nearly as fun, honestly.

    Hey Metal Jesus Rocks, Love the videos you make. It takes me back to when I was in first grade in 1995 and at my friend's house, he had a Sega Genesis with street fighter 2 we played a lot. I also remember playing MORTAL KOMBAT on the NES at my uncle's house probably around that same time or earlier ( i thought the game was called "BLOOD" for the longest time - bc the screen got all bloody when a FATALITY occured.) My first console of my own, was my uncles N64 he gave to me. I remember beating Zelda: Ocarena of Time and playing tony hawk pro skater one warehouse level. Wish i still had it, it had the red memory pack. To this day, the only console's i own are my original fat boy PS2 with the network adapter built in and my blue PSP 2001. Im gonna keep that PS2 nice for as long i can - i love that thing. As for Pc games, Loved Diablo II and Warcraft III growing up. These days it a lot of League of Legends. THANKS MJR!

    I have a generic NES (retron 1). Will these games play on it? Has anyone had problems with homebrews on a generic nes?

    • @orabgames
      @orabgames 7 років тому +3

      James Lawrence I know that a few of those will not, such as Larry, X to O, Star Keeper, Super Russian Roulette, and Tailgate Party. Many of these games are built on new mappers with more features and memory than original mappers that the Retrons cannot handle or emulate. Also, the Retrons are not able to use peripherals such as the Zapper and Power Pad.

    Check with a lawyer, but I'm 75% sure you can create a new game and donate it for free, in an organized club, like they do with pot. Your legal precedent, would be the pot laws, that avoid direct sale and transfer, by designating it as a donation. Educational and development tools for your club etc. Have any interested party sign up with email and register for your video game club, and offer free games to your members. You can only charge for shipping and handling, so charge $15/Shipping and $10-15/Handling. You can not be expected to pay out of pocket for mailing the media. Charities give you a free sticker, or something for your donation, and the charity collects a small portion of your donation to pay for overhead. It's a regular business practice that is sanctioned by the government. Lots of good precedent for any defense that might occur from litigation. Must keep records, and register as an organization, in order to prevent anything legal. Nintendo gave up on game development, and there are many clubs who celebrate the old products we grew up on. Classic car clubs are the same way. You can mod a classic car, meet at a club house and even sell that car, without Chrysler, GM, or Ford suing the car club. The law cannot favor one group, over another. Nintendo could simply license the rights to a developer and collect 1-10%, but they choose to alienate their fans. These companies do exactly what small time developers do, they just have a legal department, and a bunch of money to spend. Look into it. Also find any court cases, where Nintendo, or anyone else has tried to skirt the law, over this same kind of technicality. Good luck! I plan on doing this as a hobby, but would like to sell a couple if anyone is interested, without Nintendo coming after me.
