After I found this receipt I only make gravy this way. I use the dripping off our turkey. This year I plan to make as much gravy as possible n freeze in cup size servings (in zip lock bags, don’t forget to date them) for my husband n I. This gravy is awesome!! Although one time, our butterball turkey did not seem to have much flavor n the gravy didn’t either. I don’t put salt in ours only pepper because butter n drippings are already salted. You can always add. Enjoy!! Oh n so simply n easy!!
Finally!!! Easy ratio!!!! I make a meannnnnn gravy but it takes an hour! :(. I'm tired of mending it for so long....now! Super simple but savory the quick way😃
This is exactly what I was going to do this year before even finding your video, using two cans of Campbell’s Turkey Stock. But I’m adding a twist: In a small sauté pan, I’m going to fry up 4 pieces of bacon, maybe more if I want to go crazy. Once done, I’m going to add the bacon, fat and grease into the gravy, and let simmer awhile. Then, strain it well. And I do season with a little fresh sage.
And I just thought of an idea: Instead of putting the bacon in the gravy and later removing, I’m going to lay the wire strainer in the saucepan and simmer with the bacon sitting in there. Or invent/mold something out of aluminum foil to hang on the inside of the saucepan.
Thank you for the amazing video! I do not have drippings, will this still be okay with all 100% turkey stock. I am one of the people you talk about in this video, afraid of making gravy. I usually store buy it, but it really is not that good.
Brittany Matthews use the amount of pan drippings your turkey yields then add stock to make the two cups. Most of the time you don’t get 2 cups of drippings. Does that make sense? 😍
Masmosaic1 I have not tried it with wheat flour so I’m not sure how it would work. Wheat flour has more flavor than white so I think the flavor would be affected. It also has a heavier texture than white. If you try it let us know your thoughts 😊
This is a great recipe. I made it multiple times last year. I had to pull up the video again for this year’s holidays. Thank you!!!
Wow that was simple! Just finished mine and it's delicious! Thank you for being straight forward with your recipe and video!!
Thank you. Very simple. Love it!

Hi! Yes, you can use just stock😊
Thank you for this

@@carol-thriftychichousewife6231 ahh yes that makes sense, thank you so much!! :)
I love you ❤️😘 Thank you 🙏
I like to use kitchen bouquet for flavor and color for stews and gravies
Can you use wheat flour instead of white? Has anyone tried this? If so, how does it taste?
