Blackside is an experimental unit within the Haley Strategic R&D department. It was developed a few years ago to have a laser focus on “Keep It Simple Solutions" to solve difficult problems for the people that go into harm's way. We don't just innovate on a client's wants or requirements, we get deeply involved and mesh experience and technology with methodology to create not just a product solution but a new way of thinking.
Blackside is made up of personnel that are Jacks of all trades and maintain a lot of experience in the military, law enforcement, and rescue spaces. One of the unique aspects of Blackside is the creative flexibility, outside the box thinking, even breaking all the rules of traditional product design if necessary to get the job done without wasting our tax payer money.

love the sign at the door !! this is my dream right here !!! i have not actually counted but i have over 1k inventions and designs i just recently saved up enough to take off a month and a half so i can focus on my company. i cant afford a cnc machine so i picked up an industrial sewing machine so i can prototype 2 particular soft goods that have the best chance to buy my freedom and a small cnc mill. i have a folder filled with fabric based ideas, but the market is flooded with the stuff right now. im back to work now so my battle plan is to build an all in one personal media platform to market myself, of course ill do media for product releases but the main thing is to document my success in each endeavor. like a snow ball take and roll all the wins together to maintain they initiative. if money was no option i could spin up 4 different companies two of which could without a doubt go public. thank you for the inspiration sir !!
Travis you guys rock! I still run my D3 on my plate carrier for work and a Thorntail mount on 3 different rifles (Fed LE). You guys make great stuff! Semper Fi
The Guse is on the loose!
Yessir
That backpack for that M3 looks super sick, even though ive never used one 😅
It's badass
Out of that whole video if I heard him correctly. DIE FREE really made perfect sense. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
🤟
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 keep up the great work 🇺🇸
That backpack makes me so wet... God bless America.
Karl Gustav backpack, interesting
Glad I'm in a unit that let's me run my D3!!
Units that let people run good equipment are based
Love seeing Carl G.
Cool video sir 👏😁
Hard AF
I love how HS is like hey don’t die because your equipment doesn’t meet the standard. We will help you get your gear to your standards so that you’re a successful warfighter.
I'm good with my Interceptor ;)
This us RealLife G.I.Joe Stuff..... YO Fn Joe❣
That's pretty cool, though you had to imagine that with so much application specific gear found at HSP there had to be a lot of R&D. How does average joe get a thorax incog?
Thanks for what you do and the knowledge you share!
That's actually in the pipeline for commercial release
@@HaleyStrategicPartners I guess I'm glad I decided to keep my JPC a little longer. My gear isn't issued, and it's a hell of an investment.
well I stand corrected , always thought HSP was Training w/ "some" gear , instead HSP is multi-faceted , providing Training & a full suite of Gear needed for Self-Protection.
Lotta things we do people are just learning about
Most of which the people who matter most can't buy. Why can a cop buy a back pack but i can't? Is our money lesser? Is the back pack magic?
I wish DoS would wake up, dump the aging HTC and Velocity rigs in favor of quality gear like this.
🙌
I was about to order a scarab lt until I saw this
Many Velocity systems products are still tried and true. They are unsung and don’t speak up. Haley Strategic also makes great gear.
@@dadmode5545 Yeah, but it's hardly comfortable, cumbersome, antiquated and the bare steel plate "armor" provided with their gear is akin to entry level AR500 brand, not even a rubberized coating. DoS can afford better.
@@urbanracer032 who’s fulfilling DOS contracts with steel armor?
Okay we actually need those Carl G bags at my unit though 🤣🤣🤣

Will the controller flatpack+ be available to civilians? Saw it in the TRMP video and I’ve been waiting ever since
We've got some things in the works that we're hoping will eventually be available to the civilian market. Takes time to work out manufacturing and trying to get things to a price point people can afford
Been trying to find (or configure) a quick release system for attaching a backpack to a plate carrier. Quick release over the shoulder straps along with quick release under arm attachment that works with the molle on the carrier without having to sew anything on. Might be out there now, I gave up looking a couple of years ago. Shouldn't be that difficult.
Piggyback Strap we sell
I have an old Ares Armor combat VII pack on my carrier. I made two three-foot loops of plastic coated steel cable with cable crimps on the ends. Wove them through the molle loops and hooked a small carabiner to the bottom. All I need to do to pull the pack is unsnap the biner, grab the top of the loop and yank it out. The whole thing falls off like a quick-release plate carrier system.
Do you guys buy and develop Prototypes for market opportunities? I'd like to talk to y'all about that.

@@HaleyStrategicPartners On it! Thank you.
Will the fire pack be available to the public ?!
Maybe not in it's exact configuration. It's a really complex and expensive bag to make. We're working on other offerings better suited for general purchas
I'll admit, I've never used a Carl G in my life, but that backpack looks really cool. Can anyone who has comment on the practicality as opposed to just keeping the rounds in an assault pack or something?
It's basically for speed reloads for the AG. The rockets are oriented for efficiency
@Haley Strategic Partners so it's like a kydex-lined mag placard but for 84mm rounds? Makes sense
Imagine keeping your rifle mags in a zipper and buckle secured pouch that you wear like a purse or a single strap backpack. It works, but it’s clunky (Especially with more than one or two) and near impractical to produce another round if you miss your first shot in an appropriate amount of time.
Stay sharp, be safe and die first??

I want to be a pmc contractor with Haley he self .
how about for those civilians that want the same thing, but don't have deep pockets. I love the gear and I love what you do, and for God sake thank you for those that have served and are serving, to protect everything I hold dear, but at the same time, I have to say, what about those of us that have minimum wage jobs, or on low fixed incomes. I am tired of all these companies, and manufacturers that doesn't care about civilians, especially if low income, and that think $100. is low budget. when there are those of us that $100 will feed our families, or pays other bills. just saying
I used Chi Com Chest riggs for ar15 mags and outperformed many people. Used a $400 Dollar AR...used. Bought cheap .223.
Used Irons.
11.5 inch.
You do not need to be rich to play or dominate.
Thanks for the support. So manufacturing in the USA is not cheap, nor are the material, labor, and any additional costs. Those are all factored into our pricing. It's not priced for clout. We actually have many discussions about pricing to try to keep things affordable. All the gear manufacturers prices have also gone up due to material demand.
$100 is cheap, i just spent more than that on doordash last night. If you're a grown man and 100 bucks is too expensive, you're doing it wrong. Although i do agree with you on some companies overpricing things like a $400 dollar backpack and shit like that.
If you are on a budget your best option is to buy a sewing machine and sew the stuff yourself, and heck turn it into a business so you won't be in budget anymore. I make a lot of soft goods for militias particularly the guys at the border, you can outfit a guy with plate carrier, pouches, helmet covers/lanyards/counterweight for about $50 in materials, and about 3-5 hours per loadout. Of course the flip side to this is you got to learn how to sew and make your designs. If we factor in the time investment, it would cost $10,000 if I were only making one loadout for myself and I was paying myself for my time. In light of that, even an expensive plate carrier like the thorax is a deal.
If you only care about loading yourself up, you don't even need any of this cool guy gear. Guys working in NPE for a long time were just shoving mags into pants pockets and jackets and slaying bad guys just fine. Surplus LBE is available online and in many stores for cheap. Heck, as Escape from Tarkov has shown us, you could even just get an IKEA polytarp bag and turn that into a chest rig. lol.
Lol top secret nylon gear. why are we so nerdy as men 😂
I have a problem with companies offering mil/leo only gear of any kind. Money is money. The second amendment is my reason. No soldier or cop should have better anything than the people. I see no reason average people can't buy black side stuff. Your not selling sbr's or ordinance
@user-dc2ls2up7j did i win a framed picture of Muhammad licking his own butt like a cat?
Wow!!! So this was a complete waste of time Lol
Lmao ok😂
How do you figure?
@@urbanracer032 Only available to LEO and MIL. Sounded like it was going to be available to all.
@GeneralPreparedness1 l gathered that much, but assumed small batch designs or redesigns of existing products?
It’s still interesting. I can’t buy an Abrams tank or an Iowa class battleship, but I still spend time enjoying videos about them.
