I just bought a used one. It took me 120 rounds to slowly dial in the sights. Once I did it was a tack shooter. The sights were terribly misaligned. Take your time. The sights can be adjusted for windage and up and down. I ran three types of ammo through it, Remington Thunderbolt, Federal, and Norma. I only had one failure the hold open. I then ran it through a steel plate ground. It was fun.
Love my Beretta Neos. I think I gained more respect for it knowing the history of the designer. Giorgetto Giugiaro famous designer for iconic sports cars, Seiko watches, cameras, and motorcycles.
I have one. I did not like the sights on it so I ordered another top rail and kept the stock rail good. Took the one I ordered and made an extra slot for my red dot. Boom. What a difference. You could see it at 40 feet. Hitting plates like a mad man. But I never fell in love with the grip nor the grip angle. Two handed is uncomfortable.
The right side magazine release is getting popular in competition shooting. The Kimber R7 Mako is another that comes to mind. The 1911 all has a right side magazine release mod. But it automatically ends the age old penalty of not having your finger 100% clear when changing magazines.
@@thetexasgunvault but forgot to add I've had a one of these for years and it's been great. Most new shooters see the pros spent $7,000 on their competition pistol but this thing is great out of the box. Maybe a trigger job it's a little surprising on the pull, but for years now it's got a bunch of people into the sport.
Good review of the Neos. I have one with the 6 inch barrel and I was not happy with the stock grip and iron sights. Therefore I added a Hogue grip sleeve and Reflex sight toward the rear of the top rail. These changes allowed the grip to fit better in my large paws and the optic gave me better accuracy over the iron sights in addition to a minor improvement in balance. As for the mag release location , I agree it’s odd at first but you can quickly adapt after a reload or 2.
mine ran just fine on everything out there even some old ammo from 1970's I found in a plastic bag I just keep it well old and it has been a great gun the kids love to shoot it
Yes I own one .pretty much had same results as u but looking at trade it in for something else had it for about 9 years only target practice with it once
I have had one for maybe 20 years. I really like it except for the safety and the way it hangs down on you thumb when it is engaged. Seems like they could have come up with a better design. Good shooter.
Not really for me but that’s a very nice handgun. Had to show a friend this video because of the mag release. He said that it might be for shooters for comp use. He said some (as far as he knows) would change their mag release to the other side so their finger or inner trigger finger can press it without breaking their grip. Who really knows lol. Good video. Thank you.
I like that it teaches new shooters that there can be pistols with different types of mag release. This keeps them from becoming use to just one type of release and open to adjusting their learning of mag release
Good morning, Jason, best get your Luke Skywalker outfit out to do the review. I have never handled one or even shot them. I have seen up for sale on occasion. But after seeing the controls, I may let someone else buy one. Cheers
I have one and I love it .
I am glad to hear that!

I am glad you got your running well and shooting tight groups. Sounds like you have a really nice one! Congrats!

I didn't know that. Great information! Thank you.
i got mine years ago in pink and i love firing it!! it is heavy since its long barrel but so much fun to shoot!
I am glad you enjoy it. That is all that matters. My wife loves pink guns too.
Very accurate gun.
Yes it is
I like mine, that said, that is from memory :) haven't shot it in a few years, now I need to get it from the back of the safe and go to the range.
I am glad I inspired you to do so!
I had no idea this was still being produced - I really need it now though!
They are pretty affordable too
I don’t believe they are still being produce. I saw an article saying they were discontinued as of 2019

Wow! I bet it shoots great like that! Thanks for the information

Great information and I agree. I was always taught to keep your trigger finger on the trigger.

I tau]got all three of my kids with my Neo and they all enjoy shooting this pistol as a starter pistol.
Extremely accurate
Yep
My experience with this gun has been positive. It’s eaten everything so far with no issues.
I am very glad to hear that.
Looks like a AMT Auto-mag
Now that you say that, I can see the similarities.

I hope you find something new that works better for you.
Just had one come into my ship immediately bought it sent it out to my cerakote guy to have the emprire logo engraved into it
Congrats! I am sure it will come back looking fantastic!
I wish there was a way to get a suppressor on the bull barrel. Need to get me a good optic too. Great review…
Thank you so much and I agree.

Yes it is and I am glad to hear you enjoy yours so much!
I think the extra weight up front helps with recoil?
It probably does.
Fun fact... the magazines work in the Colt Woodsman, just different base plates.
That is good information. Thank you for sharing.
Sights are adjustable for windage & elevation - were they zeroed? Might explain both shooters consistently hitting low left
Possibly
Beginning of the video: it's an awkward reach to hit the mag release
End of the video: my finger naturally rests on the mag release all the time
Maybe i did not express myself well. It is in an awkward place but with awareness you can get used to it.

Thank you! And that is some interesting information about that mag release. It really is weird.

Do you have the B&T KH9 by any chance? Would love to see a review on that
Yes, a KH9SD. Go check out my Instagram. I had it out last week.
@@thetexasgunvault Sounds good

Yeah, I can't get over that mag catch
😁👍🔥
Thanks!
I’m considering buying a new one. We like the upside down pineapple…….have fun😘
Thank you! IYKYK!
