    I’ve not been wearing contacts for 1.5 years and only using my real glasses when I drive, then I’ve been wearing pinhole glasses when watching TV, using the computer, and sometimes out on walks. I’ve also been taking Vision Essentials eye vitamins, and today I went to the optometrist, and my eyes actually improved for the first time in 25years. My old prescription was -2.25 in the right eye, and my left eye was -2.0. But today I only needed a -1.75 lense in my right eye to have 20/20 vision. So yes, your eyesight can improve. Mine did, and I’m now 48 years old.

    I was prescribed glasses 26 years ago when I was 50.I never wore them but started using pinhole glasses for 15 mins a day watching tv and also doing eye exercises. After three weeks my vision improved so much I didn’t need glasses any more and it’s been that way for 26 years until this year when I was prescribed glasses again for driving . I’ve just started using the pinholes again, so we’ll see what happens .

      ...Then i found out that because rabbit meat is very lean, if you primarily relay on it for sustenance, you could get something called proteine sickness due lack of fat and carbohydrates and you could die...
      ...while reading about that some articles said that animals in colder climates tend to be leaner, and i tought that that cant be true (its not), and while confirming that...
      ... i found out that animals and even humans who live on colder climates tend to have shorter limbs, and there was article about the Saami peopole in northern fenno scandia and about inuits and picture of some inuit dude with these rad loking glasses made from bone :D and i started looking in to why they wore them, and found out that while protecting from snow and light they also make tour vision clearer... i was like "no way :D" tried that with my fingers, and was amazed, then looked to if those inuit glasses or something similiar was used commonly by other civilizations before glass, came by some article about these hole glasses and now i am here XD

    As a photographer, I can confirm that smaller apertures are producing sharper images because the depth of field is increased. I was wondering what if someone will manufacture contact lenses with pinhole? No diopter for the contacts, just a small black circle in the center to match the diameter of the eye pupil and a smaller hole in the center, like a ring, to create a pinhole. That would be the physical emulation of those eyedrops. I think that could work effectively for people with mild presbyopia (like + 0.75 or +1) allowing a clear vision in daylight without the need of glasses. Of course, once the light diminishes, the contacts should be removed and replaced with normal glasses.

      In my experience with the pinhole glasses,they do make me see much sharper, but it is not exactly comfortable experience. If you're not used to them, even 15 minutes can be overwhelming, and evem after regular use, I can't get myself to wear them over like 35-45 without my eyes feeling really sore, starting watering, and triggering a massive headache if I was to continue to the 1 hr mark. So it's an interesting idea in theory, but unfortunately I don't think I'd be doable for any prolonged period of time, especially when the pin is much closer to your eye, and you start tearing up 😢... Most people can wear glasses or contacts literally for the whole day without any serious issues, I sincerely doubt that about the pinholes 🧐

I stay away from doctors who over prescribed your glasses to worsen your eye sight. $$$$ I use low prescription glasses which is close to my vision but enhance the clearity a bit that won’t give me headaches, make my vision worse after I take it off. I've been using these pinhole glasses for a while now, and I can confidently say they've become a game-changer in my daily routine. Unlike traditional corrective lenses that sometimes add to the strain, these glasses relieve pressure and actually help with my headaches.
    What I appreciate most is the relaxation my eyes experience. Even though the light level might not be as bright, the strain is noticeably reduced once I put them on. The best part? No more juggling between glasses for different purposes; these pinhole glasses work seamlessly for reading, whether it's up close or from a distance.
    It took a bit of getting used to, but once my eyes adjusted, it was almost like forgetting they were pinhole glasses. The focus in the middle gradually brightens, making it a comfortable and convenient choice for any task.
    If you're looking for an alternative to traditional glasses that promotes eye comfort and versatility, these pinhole glasses are worth a try!

    Can it make eye floater not visible?

    • @DrEyeGuy
      @DrEyeGuy  Рік тому

      It's possible depending on where your floater is at in your eye. But, It's also possible it could make your floaters more visible. In fact, atropine, an eye drop to dilate the eye (pupil), can be used to help people not notice their floaters. People with small pupils have a chance to notice their floaters even more.

      The principle of the pinhole effect can work on anybody with a refractive state... but like I said in the video... won't improve your vision over time.

    If there was an easy way to improve your eye sight by wearing glasses like this it would be a well known fact. This would be well known in any field that demands percise vision. The military, surgeons, crafts-people, pilots, etc. You wouldn't be hearing about it for the first time from some post on face book.
